  After the disappointment of Cashmere Musk, this fragrance reconciled me with Zara’s line, and it’s the only one I buy now. It embodies the ‘clean girl aesthetic’: citrusy, sweet, and musky. The opening is vibrant, followed by tropical notes and a creamy frangipani with a touch of freshness. It lasts about 5 hours on skin. The bottle is Zara’s classic design, and I think the price of €17.95 for 100ml is a bit steep. My second favourite is Merino Musk.   After Cashmere Musk let me down, this scent reconciled me with Zara’s musk line, and it remains the only one I’ve purchased. Linen Musk is the perfect example of the ‘clean girl aesthetic’: citrusy and sweet. Although it’s musky, the opening is a powerful, vibrant citrus that I adore, even if it doesn’t last long. It also smells like a mix of tropical fruits (though not listed) alongside creamy frangipani, giving it a tropical vibe, all sitting on a base of musk and ambroxan that conveys cleanliness, like freshly washed laundry. I’ve only smelled Erba Pura once and think I might recall its opening, but I can’t say they are clones; I’m certain this one is more musky and will have lower performance. It lasts about 5 hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes with a moderate sillage. The bottle is Zara’s ‘classic’ design; I don’t understand why they didn’t release it with a more modern look, and generally, I think the price for this line is a bit high at €17.95 for 100ml.   A super potent and citrusy opening that blends beautifully with the sandalwood. On my skin, the sandalwood dominates, but if you pay attention after 20-30 minutes, a cocktail of tropical fruits (pineapple, passion fruit, orange) emerges with a clean, almost imperceptible musk. It smells like a high-end perfume and is worth the 300 pesos. Unisex and highly recommended.

  It starts with a brutal citrus hit that clashes with the sandalwood; on my skin, the latter becomes a beast, but if you look closely, after 20 minutes a tropical blend of pineapple and passion fruit explodes with a clean, almost imperceptible talc-like musk. It’s a fruity, woody, and musky mix where the sandalwood keeps the party going until the end. It smells luxurious and is worth far more than the 300 pesos I paid. If you can get your hands on it, buy it now.

  It’s my go-to perfume when I’m dressed up for dinner with my husband; people can’t stop telling me I smell wonderful. It has a sweet touch, but not gourmand, rather with that exotic Arabic air. It’s been a top purchase, although the performance is moderate and the trail is quite noticeable.

  I absolutely love wearing this when I’m dressed up for dinner with my husband; everyone keeps asking what I smell like. It’s sweet but not gourmand, more in an exotic Arabic style. A great purchase, although the longevity is moderate to low.
