Madly Kenzo! Kiss 'n Fly by Kenzo is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. I bought this as a Mother’s Day present for myself because I absolutely love this EDP; it’s super sweet, though I eventually sold it. On my skin, nothing compares to the original.
This is a golden-toned fragrance from the Amarique family but much fresher and less dense. While not particularly original in that sense, it remains a beautiful composition. I adore the woody musk dry-down… As it was a limited edition, I recently tried Antonio Banderas’ Her Golden Secret, which reminded me quite a bit of this Kiss n Fly, unlike the Kenzo which is a touch fresher. The Pleats Please, released a year later, also brought to mind this Kenzo (and Amarique too). The Miyake is a bit more polished, golden, and intense, yet it belongs to the same scent family.
