  1. Sleeps little and at odd hours which affects my judgement so in the early hours I watch Cleo de Merode on YouTube so glamorous and mysterious. They say it smells like glory and costs €98 but it doesn’t solve anything for me; perhaps it’s the money. Cleo comes home for me. It arrives sour from the lychee leaving me looking like Fary in full sun. I tell myself silly girl, you ve messed it up again’ and already start thinking about selling it swapping it or cutting my veins. Gradually it becomes sweeter pinker talcum-powdered and clean thanks to that cotton flower. More doll-like and makeup-y. It’s persistent and every note makes its presence felt. I don’t find it fresh and although the rose is there all the time it doesn’t dominate thankfully. It’s a tender scent with personality and extraordinary longevity but I don’t recommend buying it blindly. In the end I’ve liked it but I don’t know if I’ll fall in love with it or find it tiresome. For now I need more.
