Memory of the Sun: Mizensir's New Oriental Floral

Mizensir presents Memory of the Sun, a new oriental floral fragrance composed by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. Launched in 2026, this unisex scent offers a play of bright and sensual contrasts.

The perfume opens with bergamot and ambroxan, leading to a heart of raspberry, tuberose and Paradisona, before resting on a warm base of Peru balsam, sandalwood, vanilla, benzoin, amber and musk.

The oriental floral olfactive family is expressed here through a balance of freshness and depth. Bergamot lends a citrusy spark, whilst ambroxan imparts a woody, slightly saline edge.

At the heart, raspberry introduces a fruity facet that mingles with the elegance of tuberose and the luminous nature of Paradisona, a molecule suggestive of white petals. The result is a powdery, floral impression.

The base is a warm embrace: Peru balsam, benzoin and amber provide a resinous sweetness, whilst sandalwood and vanilla smooth the sillage. Musk leaves a soft, lingering trace.

Key accords include amber, citrus, musk, powdery, white floral, tuberose, fruity, fresh spicy, sweet and an animalic nuance. This complexity makes the fragrance rich and enveloping.

With an average score of 4.5 out of 5 from 22 ratings, Memory of the Sun emerges as a contemporary offering in the Mizensir portfolio, ideal for those who appreciate an oriental floral with personality.

It appeals to men and women who love contrasts between fresh and sensual, and who favour powdery floral compositions with a warm, amber foundation.

Memory of the Sun is a striking addition to the Mizensir range, bearing Alberto Morillas' unmistakable signature. Its journey from citrus brightness to amber warmth renders it versatile and unforgettable.
