I was looking for more perfumes for my collection. I went to the perfumerie with a list, wanting something sweet but not cloying for summer. The perfumer offered me this one. I wasn’t attracted at first because what catches my eye is the bottle, and I didn’t trust that a car brand could make a good perfume. When the perfumer handed me the sample, all my bad opinions vanished. It smelled of tea. Instantly, I was whisked away, awake but dreaming, to a lovely cabin in the countryside on a rainy afternoon. Me in my pyjamas, reading a book and enjoying a delicious cup of tea. Literally, smelling it transported me to that scene. It’s sweet but in a light way. It’s also quite discreet and makes you want to lean in to smell more. I was captivated; it’s mysterious, soft, delicate, elegant, and playful all at once. The trail isn’t very strong, but if you’re a metre away from people, they’ll perceive it faintly, and it will grow stronger as they get closer. On my skin, it lasts 6 to 8 hours, which I consider very good. Even if you apply more, I doubt it will cause a headache. In my opinion, it’s excellent for rainy summer days or sunsets. For a sunny day, I’d look for something more playful. This is for a quiet, pleasant, relaxing moment with someone special. The only thing that confuses me is that the perfumer said it had other ingredients. She mentioned jasmine but also said it had roses and violets. I’m surprised that, despite not knowing exactly what it’s composed of, she managed to show me this beauty. It’s a rough diamond. It certainly exceeded my expectations.

  • I was given a 1ml sample; this is my first time smelling it. The opening sounded familiar, I suppose due to the intense pear note. After 10–15 minutes, that juicy vibe fades to give way to a deep, floral sweetness. There’s a tea note, but not black tea; more like rooibos. I detect orange blossom, and it’s nothing metallic or overly fresh, just a tiny, crystalline sparkle. I don’t know the scent of gardenia on its own, but I think combined with a dark, slightly dirty jasmine, it supports the fragrance. So far, it seems like a good perfume within a known sweet, golden floral style. It’s not my usual style, but it’s well-made and doesn’t smell synthetic. I’m not sure about the price-to-quality ratio yet. It finishes with sugared vanilla and some floral sparkles.

It’s like Alien Flora Futura but with double the longevity and half the price. Basically, cheap and beautiful.

  • It starts floral and juicy fruity, with the pear as the protagonist and another fruit I can’t identify. After ten minutes the intensity drops and the jasmine comes out, which smells like sambac, a slightly minty flower (I’ve felt this in TM’s Alien and La Vie est Belle Leclat by Lancôme). Finally, it settles into a woody, vanilla, and slightly powdery scent. It’s an under-the-radar perfume with an excellent quality-to-price ratio. The longevity is moderate, but the sillage is a delight.

  • It starts floral and juicy fruity, with pear as the star and another fruit I can’t quite identify. After 10 minutes, the intensity drops and the jasmine emerges, smelling like sambac, a flower with a slight menthol note (I’ve felt this in Alien by Tom Ford and La Vie est Belle Leclat by Lancôme). Finally, it settles into a woody, vanilla-scented finish with a touch of talcum powder. It’s a little-known perfume with excellent value for money. The longevity is moderate, but the trail is delightful.

To be honest, I absolutely hated it. I bought it because it came on promotion with a necklace and thought it couldn’t be that ugly. It claims to be similar to Alien, but there’s nothing alike. The jasmine note is very prominent and I simply can’t stand it. It’s pure jasmine.

To be honest, I didn’t like it at all. I bought it because it came on promotion with a necklace and I thought ‘it can’t be that ugly’. It says it’s similar to Alien and there’s nothing alike. The jasmine is very noticeable and I can’t stand it. It’s pure jasmine.

I picked it blindly based on comments on another site. It smells like something I already knew but I don’t know what, perhaps an old perfume. To me, it smells like an older lady, ideal for cold weather due to that powdery touch, half talc with jasmine. It has good longevity; at first it’s strong but softens quickly, it’s sweet but not invasive, perfect for daytime. It has similarities with Elie Saab due to the jasmine and orange blossom.

I picked it up on offer for around 35 pesos. I bought it because it reminded me of Mugler’s Alien (which I own and is a real gem, costing around 200 or 300 pesos nowadays). I expected it to be different and short-lived, but on my skin they are almost identical, like siblings. At first, the minty blackcurrant is very noticeable, then a super sweet jasmine explodes. The projection surprised me: after three hours it was still leaving a trail, and the sillage is incredible. The dry-down is very similar to Alien. The Mugler lasts until the next day, whereas this one doesn’t reach eight hours, but for the price I’m mega happy. Smelling almost like Alien for a third of the price with good longevity is a real find. I recommend it if you like Alien.

I picked this up on offer for around $35, which is very cheap. I had it because it seemed similar to Mugler’s Alien (mine is a luxury item, costing $200-300 now in Argentina). I didn’t expect it to last long or be identical, but on my skin, they are like twin brothers. At first, the blackberry note is very prominent and quite mentholated, then a super sweet jasmine explodes. The projection took me by surprise: after three hours, I walked past where I was standing and it still smelled, with an incredible trail. The dry-down is almost identical to Alien. Mugler’s definitely has quality and lasts until the next day; this one doesn’t reach eight hours, but for the price, I am mega happy. I’ll be smelling almost like Alien for a third of the price, with good longevity and trail. I’m delighted and recommend it if you like Mugler’s Alien.

  • The bottle is a disaster; neither feminine nor sophisticated, it looks grotesque and doesn’t fit the Mercedes Benz image at all. The fragrance is barely noticeable, smells cheap, and although it’s a matter of personal taste, it didn’t convince me. It’s a waste of money; there are Argentine colognes of much better quality and longevity for half the price.
