This is my second Michael Kors perfume and the brand hasn’t let me down; the first, Michael, was divine and opened me up to florals when I only used to like fruity and oriental scents. Now that I have both, I’m fascinated: they’re beautiful, elegant, and smell luxurious. This one is strong and characterful; although it has fruity notes, the florals take centre stage, especially the jasmine. The amber adds a warm sweetness, while the woods and suede give it an elegant, luxurious, and sexy touch. It has already earned a place in my top favourites – I absolutely love it
I’ve never liked it; it smells overwhelmingly of pink pepper and clings to my skin without the other notes emerging. What a pity, I bought it so excitedly because I love all the perfumes in this MK line and decided to take a blind risk. Please, can anyone help me identify what didn’t work for me? Is it the peony, the pink pepper, or both combined?
