Another one for the list… It’s simple, linear and fruitless, just citrus that vanishes in ten minutes leaving a massive void. Anyone comparing it to Givenchy’s Insensè has never truly tried it. I spent bottles on that and bought this for the resemblance. I regret it. Not for the £12, but for the disappointment.
Here we see that ‘every nose is a verdict’: what some like, others don’t. Neutron is citrusy, musky and pleasant, very easy to tolerate. It’s not the typical loud Ajmal with nuclear performance, but it lasts quite a while on my skin. Is it generic and linear? Yes, but at $30 it’s more than adequate.
It says nothing to me; an ultra-generic citrus opening, could be Axe, nothing like other Ajmals. At least the price is decent. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I bought it blindly, tempted by reviews comparing it to the late Givenchy INSENSE, but there’s no similarity whatsoever, making its performance offensive. It’s a plastic citrus with floral hints; I think it has its own identity and is interesting, but not comparable. In my case, I like its woody dry-down where it takes centre stage, ideal for hot days and unisex wear.
Very similar to Givenchy’s Insense, even with better longevity and sillage.
