Philipp Plein Parfums’ No Limit$ Dark Platinum is an Oriental Fougère for men, introduced in 2026. The fragrance is credited to perfumer Alberto Morillas.
It opens in an aromatic, aquatic register before settling into a warmer, wood-led base, retaining a distinctly masculine profile throughout.
At the top are bergamot, aquatic notes and lavender. The bergamot provides brightness, the aquatic accord a sense of freshness, and the lavender a clear fougère marker.
The middle brings sandalwood, clary sage and labdanum. Creamy sandalwood is sharpened by the herbal lift of clary sage, while labdanum contributes balsamic depth.
The base combines tonka bean, patchouli and Amberwood. Tonka bean lends softness and quiet sweetness, with patchouli and Amberwood forming the amber-woody backbone.
The overall impression is woody, aromatic and warm spicy, supported by amber, lavender, patchouli, soft spice, balsamic, powdery and fresh spicy nuances.
The construction respects the traditional fougère framework, yet the emphasis on sandalwood, labdanum and amber gives the composition its darker, more enveloping finish.
