A disappointment compared to its previous launches, not because it has abandoned the dark leather that characterises its other flankers, but because this fragrance is too flat and common. It resembles thousands of others in the same family… nothing special… totally unnecessary…
It has one of the richest, most fantastic openings I’ve smelled since I started collecting 25 years ago. But in my opinion, that magic lasts about 50 minutes, after which it shifts to become woody like many other fragrances. But that opening is enough for me to enjoy it like a piglet in a muddy puddle.
Well, let me tell you… I’ve owned over 400 perfumes and never once stopped to look at this brand, until a relative gifted it to me for the Secret Santa at Christmas and… surprise! It’s brilliant. It smells like a blend of One Million Parfum and YSL Myself; it completely caught me off guard. Now I want to buy its siblings to see how they go ☺️☺️
