Between the coniferous scent and that balsamic touch, I detect a slightly sweet nuance. There’s incense, spices, and pepper… but it doesn’t seem dark. It’s not an airy forest or a fougere like others; it’s very original for wearing just those notes. In other words, it smells like something more than what is supposedly simple. The performance doesn’t stand out in terms of potency or projection, but it’s reasonable for its price and indie category, not niche as some claim. Personally, I expected more in this regard.

It could be compared to Fille en Aiguilles by Lutens, but darker, with a more pronounced incense and without that honeyed base. Moreover, it has much better performance, especially in longevity. It’s quite linear; the only difference is that the incense stands out more at the beginning, but otherwise it changes very little. Despite this, the scent feels natural and high-quality. If you like incense blended with fir or pine resins, this perfume will captivate you. The performance is high, with good initial presence that fades over time but with excellent longevity. For me, this scent leans more towards masculine. I wouldn’t buy it for its high price, but among Slumberhouse fragrances, it’s one of the best I’ve tried, alongside Ore. Pros: quality, performance, and potency. Cons: the price.

Norne won me over straight away. It’s a direct shot into the woods, transporting me to the pine forests of Soria where I spent so many summers with my grandparents. I can smell that pine resin dripping down the bark and that damp, autumnal scent of lichens and moss. It’s magical and takes me there every time I wear it. It’s potent and peculiar, nothing easy; once you’re hooked, you’re lost. Be careful to let it dry slightly on your skin before dressing to avoid stains. In my opinion, its projection and longevity are above average, truly outstanding.
Norne is a fragrance that fell in love with me from the very first moment. It’s an aromatic shot of the forest that reminds me of the pine woods in Soria where I spent so many summers with my maternal grandparents, the pine resin oozing from their bark and that damp scent of the pine forest in autumn with lichens and moss. It’s a magical scent that transports me to that place every time I wear it. It’s a powerful and peculiar aroma, nothing easy; if it seduces you, you’re lost. One must be careful to let it dry a bit on the skin after applying it before putting on clothes, to avoid stains. The projection and longevity are above average, giving a performance that, in my humble opinion, is outstanding.
