  A creamy caramelised vanilla with a very pleasant woody touch. If you like vanilla, give it a try because it’s brilliant. The longevity isn’t the best, but at this price it’s like bathing in it. It’s a very cosy fragrance. The truth is, Yves Rocher always surprise me for the better, but I always feel they lack a bit of longevity and projection. Value for money is excellent; highly recommended if you like vanilla.

  A simple fragrance but with a rich vanilla aroma. I bought it because I read it reminded me of Cap Nature Vanille from my teenage years, and according to my memory, it does. It’s not the prettiest vanilla in my collection (that spot belongs to the L from Lolita Lempicka), but it does seem very rich and not synthetic. This caramelised vanilla has a light touch of bergamot that gives it freshness and cuts the extreme sweetness, plus a hint of spice which I think is clove. The longevity isn’t great and the trail is soft-to-moderate. I use it to relax after my evening shower and it gives me a very warm and cosy feeling. Scent 8/10 Longevity 6/10 Trail 6/10 Value 7/10 Versatility 2/10 Packaging 5/10 Would I buy again? Yes

  Nothing exceptional, but for the price I paid, it’s a fair warm and gourmand cologne for cold days. They say it’s vanilla-caramel with citrus, but to me it smells just of vanilla with toffee syrup and a very faint cedar as it dries down. Watch out, it smells of alcohol on opening, but it dissipates quickly. The downside is that it’s very weak; after an hour it’s gone and the trail is minimal (I don’t expect more from Yves Rocher), so I use it as a post-shower mist before bed.
