  • I don’t know where to start; basically, it’s a terrible fragrance: the scent doesn’t stand out, the sillage is negative (I’d give it a -5 out of 10), and the longevity is minimal. I bought it thinking it was a lost gem like Gucci Envy, but it turns out to be new, and since I hadn’t seen it before, I assumed the opposite. To begin with: from what I could perceive, it’s 100% linear, with angelica on top, sage in the middle, and cedar very deep down. The blend results in a semi-aquatic, slightly acidic scent that borders on generic; nothing novel or innovative, not to mention poor quality. This is proven by its extremely low sillage (barely above the skin upon application) and short duration. It was clearly designed to be average, sell well this year, and then disappear; it won’t go down in history nor appeal to experienced buyers, as someone with little experience will notice its poor performance in longevity and projection; only a novice or someone buying their first fragrance might find it acceptable. I thought perhaps it was due to my pH, but I don’t believe so; comments on Fragrantica in English also support mine, and one mentions it’s more feminine than masculine, which I disagree with—it certainly seemed really masculine to me. It’s a pity because, if it had a good smell, it would be useless due to its low projection and longevity. Unfortunately, it follows current marketing trends to the maximum, its only support being the house’s reputation from years ago, whose glory belongs to the past; as the saying goes, ‘build a reputation and lie down,’ which is why I risked buying it blind and it was a resounding failure. Suitable for ages 20 and up in any climate, though in the climate where it’s worn, you’ll hardly notice it. IT’S REALLY A COMMERCIAL SCAM BACKED BY A BRAND THAT HAD ITS GLORIOUS DAYS BUT HAS DEFINITELY BEEN LEFT BEHIND, AN OFFENCE TO THE CONSUMER.
