Descripción
X-Centric by Alfred Dunhill is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2001, this composition was created by Maurice Roucel and Frank Voelkl. The top notes unfold with green leaves, cypress, nutmeg, helichrysum, cardamom, grapefruit, and cinnamon; the heart reveals cedar, lotus flower, freesia, and rose; while the base notes settle on guaiac wood, musk, patchouli, ambergris, and sandalwood.

I think they’re selling it very cheap. It’s ideal for the day, in summer, for sport but elegant and characterful. For evening it lacks projection and isn’t noticeable among the gourmands the younger generation wears. The dry-down is serious; on my skin the ambergris, lotus and freesia last hours. It’s clean, luminous and mysterious. It doesn’t shout, just ensures those close to you recognise you. It lasts more than six hours, but its flaw is poor projection and the name isn’t as eccentric as it could be.
I think they’ve underestimated it. Ideal for the day, summer, sport or informal wear, but with class. For evening it lacks projection and isn’t noticeable, especially among the gourmand monsters the younger generation wears now. The dry-down is serious and interesting; on my skin it lasts hours with the ambergris, lotus and freesia. Clean, luminous, summery and mysterious. It doesn’t seek to stand out, but to be recognised by those close to you. It lasts more than six hours, but its flaw is poor projection and the name doesn’t do it justice; it’s nothing eccentric.
I’m sorry about the cypress and woody notes. It’s fresh, herbal and versatile for everything, as if it has no expiry date. Although it shines more in the heat, it also works well in the cold. Pleasant and unusual, it doesn’t smell like anything I know.
I’m sorry about the cypress and woody notes. It’s fresh, herbal and versatile for any occasion, as if it’s timeless. Although it shines more in the heat, it also suits the cold. A pleasant and unusual fragrance that doesn’t smell like anything I know.
What a pity they’ve discontinued it. It smells different now and nothing like before. Lasts a long time without being overpowering; elegant and casual, perfect for an experienced man. Zero sweetness. Hard to explain, but it outperforms current EDPs. The industry has lost its way; if they don’t wake up, the Arabs will swallow the entire Western market with their fragrances that last an hour. This one smells good, works, and was made like this before.
What a shame they’ve discontinued it. It doesn’t resemble anything else. Lasts a long time without being invasive, elegant and informal. For a mature man, nothing sweet. Hard to explain. They didn’t value this eau de toilette enough before, which performs 1,000 times better than current EDPs. What’s happening with the industry? If they don’t pull themselves together, the Arabs will devour all of Western perfumery, which lives off past glories with watery scents lasting an hour. This fragrance lasts as it should and does its job as it used to.
Super good, economical and very fresh for summer.
Bestia: cheap, potent and the only one that stands up to summer sun without giving me a headache.
