It seems I’m the only one to have reviewed this on Fragrantica. I bought it in 2016 on a whim, and after years of it being forgotten in the cupboard, I had less than half left. I returned to wearing it six years later, and what a strikingly different and unusual fragrance it is. It’s impossible to describe; it smells like nothing I’ve tried before. It’s not quite like the L’eau d’Issey Miyake I’ve listed above, but it is of the same style: a classic, almost unisex scent with a vintage air. At first, there are super-ripe white flowers with woody notes. The dry-down is rare, reminiscent of the original Obsession but taking a different path. It’s fresh, rich, and distinct. Then it evolves into something more delicate and pleasant, as the opening is slightly bitter. It’s complex: you can detect the ripe flowers and woods, but also the spices, which become more prominent as the initial notes fade. I’m glad to have it because it’s a limited edition that’s impossible to find and has such a particular scent, even though it doesn’t last more than three or four hours.
