Descripción
Oh Lola! by Marc Jacobs is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2011, this composition was created by Ann Gottlieb, Calice Becker and Yann Vasnier. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with raspberry, pear and strawberry; the floral heart unfolds peony, magnolia and cyclamen, also known as Persian violet; while the base notes add warmth and persistence with vanilla, sandalwood and tonka bean.

Oh Marc Jacobs Lola! It reminds me of a strawberry sweet; I love the opening with the wild strawberry. I think the middle notes get lost in so much sweetness: we start with strawberry, raspberry and pear (all sweet) and finish with vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. The only ones I can’t distinguish are the florals, or perhaps just the peony. It’s not innovative, but it’s pleasant and youthful. In my opinion, it works better in cool or cold climates, as in much heat it can become cloying. Sweet lovers: give it a try.
It was a gift. Looking up the price in my country, Panama, it turns out to be very affordable. It’s pleasant, youthful and slightly coquettish; it suits any occasion, but works best in summer or spring as it makes you feel like a lovely flower.
I tried this on a blotter at a free shop on holiday and was fascinated, but as it was pricey, I didn’t buy it. Later I tried it on my skin and didn’t like it at first: it’s not strong, smells like a girl’s perfume with an artificial touch that made my nose and throat itch. After half an hour, the strange scent became stronger. In my opinion, it’s similar to artificial girl perfumes, only much more expensive.
I tried this perfume on a blotter in the free shop during my holiday and was fascinated, but as it was expensive I didn’t buy it. Months later I tried it on my skin and at first I didn’t like it freshly applied; although I applied quite a lot, it’s not strong and smells like an artificial girl’s perfume that made my nose and throat itch. After waiting half an hour, the strange scent became more pronounced. In my opinion it’s similar to artificial perfumes for girls, but much more expensive.
Oh Lola! It wasn’t love at first sight; it took a few days for me to appreciate it, and now I can’t live without it, especially in summer because I feel clean. It smells like shampoo or conditioner; I detect the peony and wild strawberry, all well balanced. It lasts about five hours with moderate sillage. Ideal for those who love florals with a sweet touch.
Oh Lola! It wasn’t love at first sniff, but over time I’ve fallen for it and use it a lot in summer because I feel clean. It reminds me of shampoo or conditioner; I notice the peony and wild strawberry, all balanced. On my skin it lasts about five hours with moderate sillage. I recommend it to those who enjoy floral scents with a sweet touch.
This perfume lasts longer on my skin than other designer ones. I don’t understand why it smells of coconut and pineapple to me. Still, I recommend it for summer. I’m sticking with Daisy.
I have this lotion on my wishlist. It smells sweet and fresh, but as I already own other scents, I need to save up to treat myself, hehe. Best wishes!
I love it! It smells cheerful and fruity, reminding me of a sweet, youthful girl. I would buy it, but it’s expensive in Chile. Watch out! Do not confuse it with ‘Lola’, which is dreadful.
I absolutely love the opening: strawberry, raspberry and pear, it smells delicious. Then a floral blend comes through. The longevity and sillage are moderate.

Cheerful, fresh, youthful… fun and with presence, just like its wonderful bottle. It’s a very pleasant fruity perfume. I see it as perfect for spring and summer afternoons; it refreshes the atmosphere and has a coquettish, bold and playful touch. It’s a great option for fruit lovers, almost childish, and for those seeking vitality and joy.
Cheerful, fresh and youthful… fun and with presence, just like its wonderful bottle. It’s a very pleasant fruity perfume for the senses. I see it as perfect for spring and summer afternoons: it refreshes the atmosphere and has a flirty, daring and playful touch. It seems an excellent option for lovers of fruity scents, almost childish, and for anyone who desires a touch of vitality and joy in their fragrance.
It’s fresh, fruity and with a delicious sweet touch. Any woman of any age will like it. The longevity on my skin I don’t think will pass six hours and the sillage is moderate. The design is beautiful. The truth is that most Marc Jacobs perfumes have very pretty designs and they deserve points for that dedication.

I love this perfume! It starts with the packaging: the box is pretty and the bottle is gorgeous; all Marc Jacobs bottles are very original and beautiful. The scent is very fruity at first, you can detect the pear and the raspberry. Upon application, the floral note settles on the skin leaving a fresh floral fragrance. After a few hours, the vanilla is fully felt, leaving a warm and enveloping aroma. I recommend it for any age; it’s made for jovial women, it’s sweet but not cloying and on my skin it lasts quite a while.
Oh Lola! It’s strange: a fresh-fruity-sweet scent that clashes with summer by emphasising the sweetness and becoming cloying; it’s spring-like and even suitable for mild autumn days. In winter it goes wrong, giving off a chilly and coarse aura. It solves some issues of the original Lola: it maintains the hydro-saline balance, avoids excess pink pepper and becomes a juicy fruity bouquet, like a fruit salad, similar to the Paris Hilton Passport line (which, by the way, beats it on quality and is cheaper). Its key ingredient is fresh, sweet and romantic raspberry, accentuating its emotional core: the exclamation after the first encounter with Lola. Hence the ‘Oh’, though it doesn’t fulfil half of what it promises. It’s an alternative for those who didn’t like the original, more wearable although the original already was; it abandons the spicy for the fruity, even though it was already fruity… The formula of this line is monotonous and boring. Anyway, it’s a raspberry treat that makes your mouth water while tasting, even if only momentarily, with a hint of powdered strawberry juice. Sillage and longevity are moderate, typical of the line, which appears to be a flowerpot made in a craft class.
It smells like Lola but fresher.
Oh Lola is a strange fragrance: it’s fresh-fruity-sweet and clashes with summer because it accentuates the sweetness, becoming cloying. It’s spring-like, even on mild autumn days; in winter it’s inappropriate as it gives off a chilly and coarse aura. It solves the problems of the original Lola: it maintains the hydro-saline balance, avoids excess pink pepper and becomes a juicy fruity bouquet, fruit salad style, like the Passport line by Paris Hilton (which, by the way, beats it on quality and is cheaper). The key ingredient is the raspberry: fresh, sweet and romantic, accentuating the emotional axis of Oh Lola, that exclamation after the first encounter with Lola, hence the ‘Oh’ (though it doesn’t fulfil half of what it promises). It’s an alternative for those who didn’t like the original Lola: more bearable, though it already was, but it abandons the spicy axis for a more fruity one. The formula of this line is characterised by a monotony that, in my opinion, is very boring. Anyway, it’s a raspberry treat that coats the saliva while tasting, even if only momentarily (with a hint of powdered strawberry juice). The sillage and longevity are similar to the original Lola: moderate. And of course, this line will continue to look like a flowerpot made in a craft class.
Oh Lola! It’s totally fruity, with sweet nuances, carefree, simple and jovial, bordering on childish with a very marked informal character. It has no evolution, at least on my skin; it smells very flat. The raspberry and strawberry are intense, then you notice the pear, vanilla and a whiff of peony. It’s easy to wear, smelling like strawberry powder for preparing water. I think they made it thinking of an almost teenage audience; for me it’s more of a body mist than a perfume. Its sillage and longevity are moderate to low. If you like soft, slightly sweet fruity scents, you might enjoy it.

Oh Lola reminds me of homemade raspberry jam with a hint of pear, and nothing more. The longevity is poor, as with most Marc Jacobs scents (except Decadence and the flankers), just like the sillage. I’m bothered that they focus so much on the bottle design rather than the scent, which is what matters.

It’s fresh, fruity and sweet, ideal for spring and summer all day long. Simply feminine.
I love those spicy, divine raspberries. A beautiful perfume.
Oh Lola smells great: a fresh, fruity opening of red berries like strawberry and raspberry, with a harmonious base of vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. It’s very youthful.
