Excite by AXE

I bought it because it reminded me of the Valentino deodorant; the scent similarity surprised me, though the trail and longevity aren’t quite the same. It’s a real bargain for those who don’t know much about perfumes. I recommend it 100% for the price (I paid 62MXN) and because it’s ideal to keep in your rucksack or car for convenience.

The sweetest Axe there is.

I loved this deodorant: the longevity was tremendous and the notes weren’t cloying. I’d use it again without a doubt.

I never thought I’d see a deodorant like this, but it’s a gem, especially after a workout. In my case, it’s perfect for the evening or cool, crisp days.

Axe Excite is a coconut perfume with gourmand nuances, like marshmallow. Perhaps the can suggests it as a placebo, but I like it this way: caramelised, tropical, and very milky, though not overwhelmingly sweet. I don’t see it for autumn or winter. In moderate heat (around 25 degrees), it works brilliantly, and I imagine it suits daily wear or the beach if it’s not too hot. Warm autumn and spring are its best seasons. A good fragrance; among the Axe range, it’s one I’d recommend most for daytime or casual outings, although I prefer others. Blessings.

It’s incredible that this deodorant has such brutal trail and longevity… It smells sweet, sweet, and sweeter, excellent for the cold. It can get cloying if you don’t use it carefully, incredible for the price, what I feel most is the caramel and nut.

I’ll rate the aftershave version, which is what I use, and it’s almost identical to the EDT, just without the spray. It’s a marvel; that mix of coconut and hazelnut looks spectacular. I see it as more unisex, very youthful, versatile for cold or heat, but more for night than day. Wonderful, I used it a lot when I was a teenager. Pity that, like all Axe, the longevity is decent but the trail is terrible; it clings to the skin by the hour, I think only another person would notice it after a hug.

I can’t smell the promised coconut; it smells like a strange cocktail of extreme sweetness, with something like tonka bean or caramel. It’s linear: if you like things very sweet, it works, it reminded me of Rochas Man when I first applied it. But it’s not my style; it overwhelms me for the first 30 minutes and then fades almost completely. Cheers.

The coconut and caramel smell good at first, though not very potent. It’s sweet and noticeable, generating compliments in the first two hours. Then it becomes simple, with the wood appearing without much trail. It does the basics: smells nice. Update: I noticed the coconut for the first three days; afterwards, only the pleasant caramelised sweetness remains. I had to rub my wrist to find it, and although it’s there, it has very little strength.

As NachoGlez says, even if it’s Axe, it smells incredible. It starts with hazelnut and caramel in the base, with moderate-to-low projection, but the coconut and super subtle wood are quickly noticeable, ideal for school. Compliment generator.
