  It’s a decent perfume, crafted from just three ingredients that rely on their pure scent without complications. It doesn’t aim to be a complex blend, but rather a focused theme centred on frankincense. It doesn’t quite work for me as it can feel monotonous and lose interest, but so far it has caught my attention. Although linear, it has interesting nuances. The frankincense is the main note, of good quality and persistent without being heavy. At first, it smells of sticky resin, like gum, for the first few hours. Sandalwood is the other protagonist, with its white, sweet scent that combines perfectly with the incense. Perhaps there’s just a tiny orange touch at the start, but nothing more. It’s worth around £200, which is pricey, but it lasts incredibly long: with a single spray on my wrist, I’ve smelled it all day, over 12 hours. If you love frankincense, I’d recommend it, but I think most would prefer more interesting blends and better value, which was my case.

  After testing and analysing it thoroughly, the verdict is clear: it smells of cumin. Literally, it should be called ‘Cuminum’. It’s like the scent of the cupboard where you store your spices, with that cumin aroma standing out. It’s not bad, but at this price, I expected a top-tier frankincense, and as a lover of the note, I find it completely dispensable.
