A beautiful fragrance, a woody fougère. It starts very green, evolving from herbal tones into woods with an amber base reminiscent of vanilla. The opening is almost pure alcohol, but within seconds the citrus charge with pepper and green notes emerges. The dry-down is top-notch: the resinous notes, woods, oakmoss, and vetiver transform. Very comforting, it kicks off well with a nice trail; projection is moderate but longevity is excellent, lasting between 7 and 9 hours depending on my activity. Recommended all year round for daily wear; very versatile. I believe it will appeal to those nostalgic for vintage or classic scents.
