  Total masterpiece. I agree with Juan: it smells beastly and is a first-class rose with oud. What stands out most is the saffron, smoky woods, and a very well-crafted rose. This saffron is worthy of Victorius’s Boadicea; it’s that smoky saffron, like a dry Gao meets Oud For Greatness, truly magical. The wood and oud are spicy and deep, neither blue-cheesy nor as smoky as Gao or Silver Oud, more akin to Dior’s Rosewood. The rose has a fresh touch, probably due to the musk, lasting about 15 minutes before the oriental red rose complements everything. It’s a rose in the style of Penhaligon’s Sohan, Oud Ispahan, or New World. Without a doubt, a high-quality fragrance that moves in excellence. Do not be alarmed by the myrrh, labdanum, patchouli, and amber; they are virtually non-existent. Furthermore, it is not animalic; I understand why people might associate it with Ispahan, but Dior’s version is brutally smoky and challenging, whereas this is crafted with elegance and versatility that will certainly catch attention.
