  I’m wearing it right now and it has not a shred of Tuscan Leather, as I read in English forums. Fresh citrus opening that quickly blends with a suede distinct from classic leather and a fine oud, but with a ‘plastic’ rubber smell that I find almost unpleasant. It’s not a heavy or resinous oud (which I hate), but that note ruins the perfume for me. I’m not the best tester because, with few exceptions, I don’t like leather or oud notes, and this is no exception. It’s a fresh review in the Atelier Cologne style, but the truth is I didn’t like it at all. Thumbs down for me.

  Opening with a very marked suede and oud, without finding any citrus anywhere. Quickly comes a raspberry burst. In the dry down the oud recedes and the suede stands out, along with a woody background of birch that, I suppose, blends with jasmine and vanilla. In the end, it leaves a soft suede with vanilla. It smells of vanilla in the last hours. I see it as unisex: the oud, suede, and birch give a masculine touch, while jasmine and vanilla add the feminine. Ideal for cold climates or spring. Good performance, excellent longevity, and acceptable projection. I liked it, though it’s not a masterpiece or original, as it’s a blatant clone; but it smells well and naturally. The only drawback is that it costs almost the same as the original, so perhaps it’s better to go for the original.

  The opening has a very marked suede and oud, and I don’t detect any citrus whatsoever. Then comes a burst of raspberry. In the dry down, the oud recedes and the suede stands out more. Also, I feel the birch strongly with that woody background mixed with the raspberry; I suppose the jasmine and vanilla help create that effect. In the end, it leaves a soft suede with a vanilla base, especially in the last hours. I see it as unisex: the oud, suede, and birch give the masculine touch, while the jasmine and vanilla add the feminine. I’d keep it for colder climates or perhaps spring. The performance is good, it lasts a long time, and the projection is acceptable. I liked it, though it’s not a masterpiece or very original as it’s a blatant clone, but it smells well and naturally. The only drawback is that it costs almost the same as the original, and for that, perhaps it’s better to buy the original.

  Smells wonderful! It starts with citrus but with a sweet and woody touch that lets the suede come through instantly. I seem to detect violet leaves and a bit of jasmine, things not listed in the pyramid. I also notice a slight smoky touch, surely from the birch. The oud integrates beautifully with the rest. It’s super versatile, ideal for autumn, winter, and spring, both day and night. The longevity is long and the trail is moderate.

  I love it. Citrus opening but somewhat sweet and woody. The suede is noticeable straight away. I seem to smell something of violet leaves that aren’t in the pyramid, and something of jasmine. I notice a slight smoky touch which I suppose is the birch. The oud fits perfectly with the rest of the notes. Versatile, for autumn, winter, and spring, both day and night. Long-lasting longevity and moderate trail.

  Unlike Drakecito, I see a fairly obvious resemblance to Tuscan Leather here. This Oud Saphir has a much more evident, fresher, and lighter initial raspberry note. For me, it’s hard to find the oud; it gets overshadowed by the leather and that omnipresent raspberry. The leather has body from the spices but doesn’t weigh it down. There’s a woody undertone as a background note that gives it a push. The performance is very good, lasting 8 hours without issues and with decent projection for three hours. If TF made a female Tuscan Leather, this would be it.

  I have a decant of this perfume and it’s a wonder: lots of suede and I sense a raspberry note, which made me think of Tuscan Leather. I came here because I didn’t recall it having that note, and indeed it’s not listed at least on this website, but I was reassured to see so many people find it very similar to TL. A delicious perfume with good performance. 9/10.

  I have a decant and it’s a wonder: lots of suede and a raspberry note that reminds me of Tuscan Leather. I came here because I didn’t recall having that note, and indeed it’s not listed, but it reassures me to see so many people find it very similar. A delicious perfume with good performance. 9/10
