For me, it’s the best dupe for Althaïr, a good perfume at a very good price.
It’s my dupe for Althaïr, smells fantastic and at a price that doesn’t hurt.
It’s a sweet scent, not cloying, with that linear blend of vanilla, woods, and cream. The longevity is very similar to Liquid Brun French Avenue, though as it dries down it smells more milky or creamy-medical, which doesn’t fully convince me. It’s a fragrance everyone will like, but it’s nothing new or distinctive; it won’t blow your mind or give you a headache, so I don’t understand the hype or the buzz surrounding both fragrances. It has performance and longevity almost on par, perhaps even slightly better, so if you buy one you can save the other. In terms of notes, Perseverance is a bit more milky (subjective review from 22/06/2025). It can be worn in summer without overdoing it, though it’s more suited to autumn/winter. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly if you don’t already own fragrances in this style, as you might be disappointed. Above all, don’t let people sell it to you as a trend or because of regular forum users. Would I buy it again? I’d say no.
