  I’m a man and I’m reviewing this because there’s no other option available. Do not buy it. I don’t know what makes it a dupe, but if the original smells like this, it’s terrible. My girlfriend bought it thinking it was a dupe, tried it, and gave a resounding no; I smelled it too and agreed. At first, it’s an overwhelming blast, strong, reminiscent of stale nail polish remover or old nail varnish—nothing nice. We waited an hour and it improved slightly, but that awful nail polish remover sensation remained. I left it for a few months and opened it again today; it’s worse, smelling of construction paint tin. The only way to use it is in combination or layering with a very sweet perfume. Let’s see if decanting mellows the thickness. If you’re used to sweet aromas, never buy this; it smells like insecticide, literally.
