Delicious fragrance, fresh with a spicy touch, very good ingredient quality. I waited a month to review it. It works well, leaning towards excellent. On my skin, it lasts 8 or 9 hours with good projection for the first two hours. I got this for $60 here; I imagine the criticism stems from the launch price, because it’s hard for anyone not to like this.
The citrus and lavender make it feel a bit unoriginal, something familiar, even in catalogue perfumes (there are some very good ones). But I think it comes down to how it smells on my skin: its woody dry-down is the best part. It has two facets: fresh and spicy at the start, then a masculine, elegant, and sober dry-down. It evolves and gains points. Performance is correct, trail is moderate, versatile for daytime and moderate temperatures (cold or heat). I feel it’s a masculine, semi-formal scent. Recommended? Give it a try, it doesn’t offend and everyone likes it, without being a best-seller. If it weren’t for the fact that I like it 50% and it’s worth the price, I’d hesitate. Cheers. It’s far from Bois Imperial or Kenzo Homme EDP in terms of quality and aroma.
A perfume that isn’t talked about much and is undervalued, and what a good thing it is. Of all the ones I own, it’s the one that has received the most compliments.
Perfume top, one of my best purchases. It opens with a citrus and spice burst, then quickly moves into ginger and chilli. A rare combination I don’t see elsewhere, yet it’s not overly bold or difficult to wear; it’s a wearable, aromatic, spicy and woody scent. Performance and projection are luxurious. More suited to men, versatile and rich. Elegant, understated and it smells of quality.
Excellent fragrance, very rich aroma. Perhaps people hold back a bit due to the notes, but the truth is it’s an olfactory beauty, delicious and long-lasting. We already have two from this line that I adore; I think I’m going for the whole collection.
Top-tier fragrance, one of my best purchases. It opens with citrus and spice, then moves to ginger and chilli. A unique combination I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s not risky or difficult to wear; it’s spicy, woody, and very wearable. Luxury performance and projection. In my view, it’s more for men, versatile, rich, elegant, sober, and high quality.
Incredible longevity. I applied it yesterday at 4:30 pm and it lasted until today at 2 pm. The Akigalawood fixation is beastly. The scent is rich and doesn’t disappoint, but I recommend smelling it first because the Akigalawood and pepper have a particular smell. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious, formal, and ideal for those over 25, but you must try it to see how those notes sit on your skin. It’s a top-tier gem with amazing scent quality and very hard to find in the $40 range it costs in Chile. It’s sublime, although the most versatile is the Azul for everyday wear. This is a bit more formal and, to be honest, I’d hesitate to use it in extreme heat due to the Akigalawood, which is quite warm in itself.
Excellent fragrance, very rich aroma. Perhaps people hold back a bit due to the notes, but the truth is it’s an olfactory beauty, delicious and long-lasting. I already have two from this line that I adore; I think I’m going for the whole collection.
Could anyone tell me if this is for men or would it suit a woman?
Today I tried all my fragrances and confirmed: smell before you buy. While some were blind tests, most weren’t. This one has good reviews, but for us, it was a total fiasco, especially given the price (almost $50), as there are far better options for much less. The notes sound great on paper for those who love woody citrus and spice, but in reality, it smells completely different; it has a strange sweetness. As I read elsewhere, it resembles catalogue perfumes with that typical sugary dry-down. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing special, and I repeat: at such a high price, it’s a resounding no for us.
