What an explosion of colour and juicy red fruit flavour! It’s not sweet, but super refreshing and invigorating. After that burst, Qué Amour becomes a delicate blend of rose, geranium, and peony, but without losing its exuberance. Besides the rose, I note green, powdery, and citrus accords that give it an even more sensual touch. Since spring arrived, I’ve left my oriental perfumes to approach this floral glamour. It’s like spring in a bottle, the awakening of sensuality. It’s not unique, but that romanticism and vitality wrap around you. It’s a magical and sparkling elixir.
It’s one of my favourite perfumes, although its potency is very high. It brings me memories of girls from another time running through the meadows. But the intensity is such that I felt as if I had swallowed strawberry bubbles non-stop. The solution: I mixed it with Petits et Mamans by Bvlgari, putting half of each. Now it’s exactly what I was looking for: much more bearable and pleasant.
What a precious fragrance! It has almost all my favourite notes in a beautiful bottle. It’s a fruity floral or a very fruity floral, as you say, that won’t leave anyone indifferent. Fresh gooseberries, bright cherries, and explosive pomegranates that make my mouth water, sweetened by blackberries and a juicy peach. The flowers are young, delicate roses and peonies, but the fruits are the protagonists from start to finish. In the base, a clean musk with a powdery and warm touch thanks to the amber. The trail and longevity are excellent, about 6 hours, and it still remains on the skin. It functions as an EDP being an EDT. I would use it in autumn and winter because, although the base isn’t heavy, the red fruits and peach make it ideal for the cold. For day or night depends on the applications. It’s very youthful, ideal for starting in niche, energetic and cheerful. Romantic, sensual and rich, perfect for savouring on the skin. Impossible to take your wrist away from your nose with a smile. I think Annick Goutal and I are going to get along very well.
What a precious fragrance! It has most of my favourite notes all together in a charming bottle. It’s a delicately fruity floral or a very fruity floral, as you like, that won’t leave anyone indifferent. A combination of fresh gooseberries, bright cherries, and explosive pomegranates that make my mouth water, sweetened by blackberries and a ripe, juicy peach. As floral notes, I perceive young, delicate roses and peonies. I don’t see it as a floral because the fruits are the protagonists from start to finish. In the base, a clean musk gives it a powdery touch and nothing cold, thanks to the warmth of the amber. It has an excellent trail and longevity on me of about 6 hours, and it still persists on the skin. To be an EDT, it functions as the best of EDPs. I would use it in autumn and winter because, although the base isn’t overwhelming, the red fruits and peach make it ideal for cold climates. For day or night depends on the number of applications. A very youthful aroma, ideal for starting in niche perfumes, energetic and cheerful. A feminine, romantic, sensual, and very rich fragrance, to savour on your skin if you let yourself… Impossible to take your wrist away from your nose with a wide smile! I feel Annick Goutal and I are going to get along very well.
What amour! It is, in a way, mentholated. Its opening is explosive and spicy. It smells like a starry night in the countryside, fresh herbs after a rainy afternoon. A clean, fresh, and tidy aroma. Good fixation; the performance doesn’t decrease, it seems applied a moment ago despite hours passing.
What a love! It has a mentholated touch. The opening is explosive and spicy. It smells like a starry night in the countryside, fresh herbs after a rainy afternoon. A clean, fresh, and neat scent. The longevity is good; it doesn’t fade, seeming as if it was applied recently even after hours have passed.
I bought it without being a fan of red fruits or peonies, blindly, on one of those complicated mental days when you look for an extra distraction. Its opening, which lasts about half an hour, made me laugh with nerves; it was terrifying. I had read that it smelled like a cleaner and it still smelled worse to me, like a bitter cherry and powdery, grating things without harmony; I thought it was wrong. But time performed a magical trick and now I smell those red fruits as a just, natural, and beautiful sweetness at its exact point. The peonies are a marvel that I can transform into my favourite flowers. Anyway, I ordered another bottle at a good price. This perfume makes you feel loved; it’s so rich you don’t want to stop smelling it, like a caterpillar that has taken flight. I’m addicted to the brand for its magical realism. If nature doesn’t smell like Annick Goutal smelled it, it should change.
How delicious this perfume is 🥰 My weakness is French perfumes. I love that elegant, simple design of old-fashioned perfumes. It’s fresh yet sweet without being cloying; it reminded me of a doll-like scent very much in the style of Delina, but sweeter. I can imagine myself on a street in Paris, entering a small shop and seeing it in the display window.
Beautiful. It fills me with euphoria, the wonder of being alive in a world of colours like a field at dawn. It’s a sunset on the beach, gazing at the sea and thinking of our planet. I adore it in autumn and spring; I smell the peony so strongly, as well as roses, even though they aren’t declared. To me, it’s a fruity floral because, although the pomegranate is noticeable, the flowers are the protagonists. The amber accompanying it is so clean and delicate; it’s all an ode to delicacy. Someone called it magical realism and they were right: smelling nature so much, it seems like another world. I treat it like gold, and although I have many perfumes, this one is different. The longevity is excellent, but sometimes when I feel how its trail explodes, I get compulsive urges to reapply to enjoy that narcotic burst. Simply makes me happy, evoking beautiful memories from my life 💖 Edit: July 2024, full winter in Argentina, it’s so rich, has something nostalgic and melancholic. I love it, it’s my favourite and it doesn’t resemble any other. Simply beautiful. Fan of Annick.
