To say this resembles Tuxedo is a joke; Ruby n Vanilla is one of the finest vanillas you can wear. It’s a shame about its dreadful distribution and senseless price changes, but if vanilla is your strong note, you must try it. Nothing cloying, bright and simply spectacular, with enviable performance. It would get more attention if its distribution were normal, but unfortunately, that’s how EBK is.
I love vanilla, so with the promised notes I thought it would suit me well. On the skin, it’s a pleasant vanilla with a citrus touch that settles after the intense patchouli opening. It smells a bit like Casamorati’s Lira and you can really feel the quality of the ingredients. It’s not gourmand, but it is sweet, perfect for those who can’t stand cloying scents. It has good sillage and longevity, unisex with a slight feminine leaning. A skin test is essential to see how it reacts with the patchouli. For the price, I’ll stick with Lira.
