If you like the original Paula’s Ibiza, this one is for you—it’s very much in the same style. I was hugely surprised and I’ll be buying it without a doubt.

I love it. It’s very similar to Lush’s Pansy, but less sweet, fresher, and evokes a forest, probably due to the moss. Here, the rosemary comes through more than in the Pansy. It’s different from what I usually wear and I get many compliments. Although it’s in the men’s section, it’s super unisex.

The opening reminds me of Solo Atlas, with that classic cologne feel. In the dry down, there’s something that might sound retro at first, but then turns smoky, giving it a modern touch. It’s not a beast, but it lasts well for the first four hours. After that, it lingers for another two hours close to the skin.

A very interesting aroma, but nothing new. The downside is that it doesn’t last very long.

It opens very green with galbanum, then moves through a slightly dirty phase that didn’t quite convince me, though it only lasts a few minutes before giving way to soft, pleasant incense. Ideal for fresh weather and it has good longevity. It’s not exactly my style, but I found it interesting.

I like it a lot, although I don’t think it’s for everyone. Supposedly inspired by Japan, in my case it certainly evokes it: a walk through a bamboo forest, a garden with round gates, a cup of matcha tea… It’s unisex, an olfactory experience with its pros and cons. On my skin, it’s green, sweet, warm, yet refreshing due to the nuances. I’m glad Zara took the risk. I wouldn’t recommend buying without trying first, but it’s perfect for those seeking new experiences and not afraid of new scents.
