Launched in 2022, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani. I love being surprised by names, and this one caught my attention without fail. It has that sexy, sensual vibe of Maison Margiela’s Jazz Club, though with some differences: here, the vanilla note is missing, making it less sweet. On my skin, I detect a wonderful blend of leather, cognac and oud, yet it feels sweet and slightly ‘cheeky’, while still being provocative. On my husband, the leather comes out much drier with a touch of oud; on him, it’s a more serious and elegant fragrance. Personally, it’s ideal for wearing as a couple because, although it performs differently, the scents complement each other and evoke different feelings.
