Pleasant surprise, perhaps due to low expectations after reading negative reviews. The notes don’t match Fragrantica; it smells of predominant bergamot and basil over wood. It’s a simple, pleasant and well-blended composition, fresh but softened by the wood, making it very versatile for any occasion, season or outfit. It has elegance but remains casual, and although it’s designed for layering, it stands well on its own. The performance is good, lasting over six hours with a moderate trail, but the price seems excessive for this; I’d buy it at half the cost – 150€ is too much.
