Wow, I fell in love with this perfume because it has a good balance between the notes. It reminded me a lot of Bond No. 9 New York Oud. I bought it blind and loved it. The projection isn’t the highest, but it is hermetic, literally like its brand: anyone in your immediate, intimate circle will be able to perceive the rich scent. It is totally unisex, neither leaning more to one side nor the other. Congratulations to Philippe Paparella on this perfume.
It is a full-bodied fragrance that blends perfectly with the skin. Being alcohol-free, it is ideal for those who can’t tolerate it; you have to apply it well to avoid leaving an oily patch, as it is very hydrating. It evokes luxury and class, no wonder Hermetica belongs to Memo Paris, so we are talking about quality. It merges with my skin for hours, but I don’t notice a trail, although others do perceive it within a metre. The bottle is breathtakingly beautiful and the heavy gold cap is lovely. Furthermore, it is refillable and the brand plants a tree for every sale. I love having a piece that is clean, sustainable and committed. Abstain if you are a lover of scents like Angel, Opium or Lempicka that have infinite sillage, as Verticaloud would disappoint in that regard. I consider it unisex and suitable for cold climates.
I bought this blindly and I’m still impressed because it wasn’t what I expected. It reminded me of those old-fashioned wooden doctor’s offices – expensive and sophisticated. If I were a doctor, I’d wear it and feel like the most elegant person in the world, haha. It’s a serious, elegant fragrance that smells expensive. I wouldn’t recommend it for young people; I feel it’s more suited to someone with a distinguished air. I liked it quite a bit and would wear it whenever I want to feel that way – elegant, boss vibes (just be aware the scent is quite strong!).
I purchased this blindly and I remain impressed as it wasn’t what I anticipated. It evoked memories of those antique wooden doctor’s consultancies – costly and refined. If I were a physician, I’d wear it and feel like the most elegant individual in the world, haha. It’s a serious, elegant perfume that smells luxurious. I wouldn’t advise it for younger people; I sense it’s more aristocratic. I enjoyed it quite a lot and would wear it whenever I wish to feel that way – elegant, boss vibes (note that the scent is quite potent!).
