  • It resembles Banderas’ Spirit but with less intensity. The longevity is moderate, but if you wear it in the heat, it becomes more noticeable.

  • Like all the Banderas scents, the low price makes me wear it daily for work. It has a unique aroma; some people find it gives them a headache, but I like it despite being quite overpowering.

  • As soon as I smell it, it gives me a headache, but over time it becomes pleasant, like chocolate. However, it doesn’t last more than a breath. Very weak.

  • I received this as a gift and it’s nothing special. It smells of incense, amber and cinnamon; as it dries, patchouli appears with a soft citrus touch. The longevity and trail are very weak and if you wear too much, it becomes overpowering. It reminds me of an ex’s drawer. Perhaps it’s unisex. It suits winter evenings well. It’s a cheap option with similar notes.

  • The trail is extremely weak and doesn’t last on the skin at all. It’s as if you have to reapply it constantly.

To be honest, at first Spirit seemed just okay to me, but over time it becomes magical. Now I absolutely love it: it’s warm, sweet, and very masculine. The opening is spectacular with lemon, bergamot, and lime, followed by amber and cinnamon. The incense adds a mysterious touch. Curiously, it smells of red pepper, paprika, and dried chilli. Perfect for day or night. It reminds me of Givenchy’s Xerius Rouge.

The Banderas line is a real hit, both the men’s and women’s scents. At first it seems light, but once applied, it surprises you by lasting for hours. It’s sweet without losing its masculinity. If I see it again, I’ll throw it away without hesitation.

The Banderas range is a real hit, both the men’s and women’s versions. At first it seems light, but once you apply it, you’re surprised by how long it lasts. It’s sweet without losing its masculinity. If I see it again, I’ll buy it without a second thought.

  • Rich perfume, sweet and elegant. It doesn’t last long, but it’s economical and its scent doesn’t bore, it’s a delight.

  • Brutal quality drugstore fragrance that escapes generic and simple aromas to offer a sensual, addictive and ingenious combination. It opens with strong strokes of smoked incense (it even reminds me of Balenciaga Pour Homme, as its younger brother), deriving towards an oriental profile with prominence of cinnamon and vanilla, without losing the bitter and woody touch. It’s one of those that screams for over-application, go ahead and spray without fear. It maintains the coordinates of the line: discreet trail (though noticeable) and very good longevity. For very little money, we enclose a bubble of seductive male complacency. Chapeau, I have nothing more to say.

  • Without a doubt, the Banderas fragrance I like the most. The opening is a blend of citrus and cinnamon, simply delicious. Then you perceive incense and amber which add a smoky and warm touch. Putting my nose right up to the zone, I manage to find (very soft) neroli. Later, patchouli appears clearly, without being the protagonist, for the final phase. It lasts and projects more than it seems at first, but it doesn’t go beyond moderate. With a bit more trail and longevity, it would go on my favourites shelf. As it is, I like it a lot.

  • Without a doubt, this is the Banderas fragrance I like the most. The opening is citrusy with cinnamon, delicious. Then you notice incense and amber, one smoky and the other warm. If you get very close, it smells of very soft neroli. Later, patchouli appears for the dry down. It lasts and projects more than it seems at first, though it doesn’t go beyond moderate. With more sillage and longevity, it would go on my favourites list, but as it is, I really like it.

  • Hello! I love the Spirit by Antonio Banderas. Once you apply it, you know you’re going to get cinnamon, cinnamon and more cinnamon. I’m a fan, so for me it’s perfect. It also smells of very pleasant smoked incense, which gives it depth and mystery. Over time, the cinnamon and incense continue to lead the aroma, but a slight bitterness is added, I suppose from the patchouli. It has a fairly linear scent; it changes a bit at the start but once it settles, it doesn’t vary further. I think it’s spectacular at an incredible price. If I came across this scent in the street, I wouldn’t think of it as an 8 euro fragrance. It has longevity and trail in line with the Banderas line: moderate (6-8h) and soft. • Hello! Spirit for Men by Antonio Banderas is a real cracker. The moment you apply it, you’re hit with cinnamon, loads of cinnamon. As a fan, it’s perfect for me. It also smells of a very pleasant smoky incense that adds depth and mystery. Over time, the cinnamon and incense remain dominant, but a bitter note joins in, likely from the patchouli. The scent is fairly linear: it shifts a bit at first, but once it settles, it doesn’t change further. I think it’s a spectacular fragrance at an incredible price. If I encountered this scent on the street, I wouldn’t think it was an eight-euro perfume, not by a long shot. As my friend Bofifa rightly pointed out, the longevity and trail are typical for the brand: moderate (6-8 hours) and subtle. • Without a doubt, a cherished aroma. Once you smell it, it seems your senses crave more of that fascinating burst that captivates you. That warm, incense-like freshness is exactly what my nose wanted to perceive. But sadly, its performance is short and you can’t layer it because it’s discontinued and every spray hurts. I keep it to enjoy from time to time. One of many extinct scents that are missed. Scent: 9.0, Projection: 5/10, Longevity: max 6h. Recommended (hard to find).

  • Spirit by Antonio Banderas: Without a doubt, it’s a charming aroma. From the moment you smell it, your senses seem to crave more of that fascinating burst that catches you shyly but unmistakably. That warm, incense-infused freshness is all my nose wants to perceive and fill my head with until I’m lost in it. But sadly, its performance falls short, and you can’t over-apply because it’s discontinued and every spray hurts. I keep it just to wear occasionally and savour it from time to time. One of many discontinued scents that we can’t stop missing. Scent: 9.0. Projection: 5/10. Longevity: max 6 hours. Recommended (hard to find).

  • I loved it; a friend smelled it and I ended up buying it. On clothes, it lasted a century, to be honest, with the scent lingering for several days. On the skin, it held up quite well too and had a seductive touch. I haven’t seen it for ages; I’d love to have it back.

  • Very sensual and masculine. For me, the musky notes sound a bit animalised. It’s the kind of fragrance I enjoy in the environment rather than on the skin. Otherwise, the performance on skin is good, at least in the older versions, and it lasts a long time on clothes.

  • It accompanied me through all my teenage years and every girlfriend I had loved it between the ages of 16 and 19. The scent relaxed them with that blend of cinnamon and musk; it lasted 4 or 5 hours on clothes and days on fabric. What a pity it’s discontinued. There are some on eBay, it’s a real gem.
