  It was the one I liked most from the whole collection, the most special and fruity. I love the pear note and I don’t have anything similar in my wardrobe. You can detect the pear, the peach and a very subtle saffron. It’s mysterious and addictive. I don’t have Guidance, but I tested them on the same day on each wrist and on blotter; to me, they are very similar at the start, although the Amouage one evolves more, is more addictive and lasts in a different league. Stellar Amber has good longevity and medium projection. It’s the one I would recommend without a doubt from this collection.   The queen of the entire collection, the most special and fruity. I adore it for that pear note because I have nothing like it in my wardrobe. You can really taste the pear, peach, and a very soft saffron touch; it is mysterious and addictive. I haven’t tried Guidance, but I tested them on the same day and they smell very similar on the skin, although the Amouage one evolves more and lasts in a different league. Stellar Amber has good longevity and moderate projection. If you have to choose one from this collection, this is the one I recommend.   The best in the amber range, the most special. I haven’t smelled Guidance so I cannot compare, but it is rich, with pear and a spicy touch. It doesn’t last long on the skin, but on clothes it lasts more than eight hours. The curious thing is that I put it on at 8 am and at 7 pm someone asked me what perfume I was wearing, even though I could no longer smell it myself. When I got home and took off my clothes, I could smell the trail again! Apparently, I have anosmia, but since people keep complimenting me, I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it.

  It smells weak; the pear only appears at the beginning and then disappears, nothing like Guidance which is truly a delight. However, it is the most passable of the entire Zara amber collection.

  The best of the amber collection, the most special. I haven’t smelled Guidance to compare, but it smells rich; you can detect the pear and a spiced touch. Longevity on skin drops to moderate, but on clothes it lasts over 8 hours. I applied it at 8 am and received compliments at 7 pm even though I couldn’t smell it anymore; when I took off my clothes, the trail was strong. It seems to cause anosmia in me or something similar; I don’t feel it but others do. Since buying it, I haven’t stopped using it because it earns so many compliments.

  I bought it blindly based on good reviews and got a shock. Upon spraying, I was repulsed; it smells like cough syrup mixed with cheap car air freshener. Also, despite what they say, it smells of cinnamon/anise, which is my absolute no-go. It’s one of those fragrances where you either love it or hate it; you really need to test before buying. Update: after two days, it improves slightly as it dries but smells like church incense, which is hardly encouraging. The fruity notes never arrive, which is a pity as I had high expectations.

  Is it a clone of Guidance? No, but it has a strong similarity and is the designer perfume that reminds me the most of it. Guidance is unique and magical to me. While Stellar Amber isn’t identical, on my skin it has clear echoes of it. At 12 euros for 100ml, it’s a laughable price for the quality, with 7-8 hours longevity and moderate projection. It’s a good option if you’re looking for something similar. They aren’t identical, don’t ask for a pear from an elm tree, but it smells alike. I think it could substitute it if you don’t want to spend more. I love buying it blindly; it allows me to use this scent more freely. PS: judging by the comments, it seems to change drastically depending on the skin, so I recommend testing it first.

  Sandalwood, vetiver and lavender take the lead. I love woody scents and this smells like pure wood. It’s simple and perfect for layering with another, say, a floral. I wear it with the Saphir Nardus and the combination is top-notch.

  Smells like spices, similar to Guidance, but it doesn’t last a minute; Amber Satin is another story entirely. What a rich collection, they all smell divine. It’s a shame they don’t ship to Argentina; we’re dying to get Zara perfumes here.

  Zara, please bring this little treasure back! It’s my favourite so far. It mellowed beautifully with wear and lasts all day with a powerful trail. I wouldn’t change a single thing about its formula.
