A relative gifted me this set, but unfortunately, I never wore it. I’ve always found it to be a brash, synthetic fragrance, a blend of musk, hyacinth, and citrus that I never cared for. It hurts not to use it because I know they put so much love into it, but it remains an unpleasant memory that I won’t include among my favourites.
I bought the pocket version because I thought it would have a more pleasant aroma… I was disappointed beyond belief. At first, I found it agreeable; it was small and I did not know how to recognise a quality synthetic fragrance. I wore it and some people liked it. But now when I smell it, I perceive it as super synthetic, artificial and grating. It even smells like wet cardboard with shampoo to me. Very unpleasant; I think it is a poor perfume, almost suffocating. At least I did not buy the 100 ml presentation. I regret giving in… There are better Avon perfumes.

One of my first colognes as a teenager. I wore it between the ages of 14 and 16 and loved it, considering it fresh, floral and slightly sweet. The notes that stood out most were honey, hyacinth, lemon, lily and rose. Many girls my age wore it back in 1995. I later discovered other perfumes and switched to them. A year ago, at 34, I bought it again; although I finished the bottle, I no longer found it as appealing, as I have become accustomed to more intense fragrances. I recommend it for young girls, in any season and for everyday wear, not for parties. Many people use it, so there must be a reason Avon still sells it. It lasts little on the skin, between one and two hours, a bit longer on clothes. It is economical and good for starters. Try it and let me know.

This perfume is somewhat synthetic, but not in an unpleasant way. It is floral and aldehydic. I like it because it was my grandmother’s and one of the first she gave me. It is a good option for beginners exploring the world of perfumes alongside Avon classics such as Charisma, Timeless, Odyssey, Candid, Imari and Tasha. Many people underestimate and mock Avon, but these scents have stood the test of time and Sweet Honesty remains on the market for a reason.
I adore it. Like all Avon perfumes, it doesn’t last long on the skin, but it is rich. It is a quintessential daytime scent that simply must be in your collection, perfect for straight after a shower.
What a lovely perfume Sweet Honesty is. It is subtle, sweet, feminine, innocent, melifluous and soft. A citrus scent with talc-like notes and a very slight sweetness. Although it lacks the fruity or gourmand notes currently in vogue, I think it is timeless and suits women of all ages. While its longevity is moderate, I believe it is a beautiful perfume ideal for after a shower or casual occasions. Simply makes me feel good; I love it.
They gifted it to me when it was cold, and it was perfect on the skin. When the heat arrived, it became unbearable, and I had to shower to get rid of it. Wearing it in winter is cosy, very powdery, and rich.
I don’t understand why this fragrance is so undervalued. The beauty of Sweet Honesty is splendid and warm. It perfectly captures the moment in the film ‘Somewhere in Time’ when the protagonists meet under the sun. It is a reunion with oneself, nature, or love. Citrus, vanilla, and honey (the heart notes) could belong to the Belle Époque. It is not ‘baby powder’ scent; it is something more complex, though it does emit that warmth and comfort linked to that title. It has a soft white floral touch. The only difference from the vintage is that the old one had more honey, while the new is slightly more citrusy with more musk, but overall it changes by only 15%, almost imperceptible. I adore Sweet Honesty; it is simple, elegant, and high quality. A true hit from Avon’s 70s. Comparisons with Chanel N°22 are not bad, except that Chanel is spicier and stronger, whereas this is more peaceful and intimate.
I loved the previous version. A few days ago, someone gifted me a bottle they had been keeping, and it was the best present. My favourite aunt used to wear it years ago, and I recognised it instantly. The current version is very different: the colour has shifted from amber to clear, and the scent is distinct. They seem like sisters but aren’t the same. The new one feels as if water has been added. It’s a pity; I’ll keep this bottle as a relic.
I adored it when I was a teenager, but now that I’m thirty, I no longer like its scent.
What a lovely fragrance! It’s a delicious blend of honey, vanilla, and flowers. Yes, they reformulated it, but it remains largely that warm, enveloping perfume that brings me childhood memories. I use it occasionally, and it fills me with nostalgia and joy. Even though I now own high-end perfumes, this Avon scent holds a special place because it reminds me of my happy childhood.
Sparkling, tender and lovely. It’s a rich fragrance to wear on the skin and is hugely liked.
A pleasant and soft fragrance. I remember that rich honey scent. I wore it in my teenage years; it’s subtle, but a drawback is that it doesn’t last long on the skin.
It was one of my childhood colognes and sparked my love for florals right up to today. It has a herbal note, like freshly cut grass, which cuts through the floral sweetness and gives that sense of cleanliness and freshness. I regret that it doesn’t last long (unlike Far Away, another Avon gem). It smells like a good, beautiful, modest and simple person.
I used to wear it a lot when I was a little girl: soft, delicious and tender. Now I’m not sure if I’d wear it for my age.
Tenderness bottled as a fragrance! I found it by following the notes, and it smells like childhood, like a baby, like talcum powder. Its trail is almost non-existent (the cologne is no longer sold here), but it’s excellent for after a shower or before bed. I love classic fragrances, and this one will accompany me for a long time. Worth it if you like baby scents <3
It is tenderness made into perfume! I got it recently by following its notes and I must say: it smells like childhood, like a baby, like talcum powder. Its trail is almost non-existent (I only managed to get the cologne, as it is no longer sold here), but it is excellent for after a shower or before bed. I love classic fragrances and without a doubt this will accompany me for a long time. It is worth it if you like baby scents.
I tried several Avon classics I’d never used before, assuming they were too mass-market, but Sweet Honesty won me over. I bought it compulsively and have no regrets. I wear it daily, but especially for bedtime; it’s floral, green and sweet, and once it settles, it’s so soothing it lulls me to sleep. It brings me peace when I wake up wearing it. The best thing about the classics is their longevity: although here I only find it as cologne, deo and spray, it lasts a long time in all formats. You can smell the flower first, then the musk. I’m delighted to rediscover this Avon gem.
I’m trying out several Avon classics I never bought despite using them as a young person, because I considered them too mass-market. Sweet Honesty was one of them. I had never used it, but after reading incredible reviews, I felt compelled to own it immediately. I have no regrets. I wear it daily, but especially to sleep; I find it floral, green, and sweet, and when it settles, it is so pleasant that it lulls me. Waking up to that scent brings peace. The best thing about these classics is their longevity. Although here it is only available as eau de cologne, perfume, and deo, it lasts a long time on skin and clothes in all formats. You can smell the flowers first, then the soft musk. I am very glad to have rediscovered this well-crafted fragrance.
It takes me back to my childhood and adolescence. My grandmother sold Avon and used to gift us perfumes, perhaps which is why I became a fan from a young age. She would fill me with Avon and Zermat fragrances. I have one in my dressing table that she gifted me, and it still works. I love wearing it to sleep after a shower; my husband enjoys it too. It is a scent full of memories.
It brings back memories of my childhood and teenage years; my grandmother sold Avon products and used to gift me these perfumes, which is why I’ve been a fan since I was little. I have one in my dressing table that she gave me, and it still dispenses fragrances. I love wearing it after a shower before bed, and my husband adores it too. It’s a scent full of memories.
Sweet Honesty was my grandmother’s favourite cologne, a classic she loved. As a teenager, I’d go to her dressing table, smell it, think ‘how lovely!’, and dab a little on myself. Since scent connects with emotions, I just say that one day I’ll buy it again to remember that magical time. 💞💞
Pure tenderness and innocence, the perfume of my most peaceful dreams <3
Smells like a hug from mum or grandma: relaxing, light yet with a strong presence. I keep buying it to feel pampered.
It was my teenage perfume. We all bought this at school and it was a huge craze. I bought it again out of nostalgia and I still love it. It has something special. It smells of delicate, tender flowers, is relaxing with a citrus touch and a woody note. It makes me happy that it’s still being made with the same scent. A beauty.
I used it when I was younger and it’s a scent I still like. It’s very recognisable because it was so popular in my country. It’s an aquatic floral and slightly sweet, super pleasant.
I asked my mum for deodorant and she gifted me this, thinking it smelled of sweets. It smells very talcky and delicate, giving me 80s vibes; I even love this scent when listening to Debbie Gibson’s tracks. I’ll definitely buy the bottle 💕
A pleasant classic. It smells of powder, is retro and like baby talc. It’s an innocent and charming fragrance. The aldehydic and floral notes stand out, though there’s also a hint of green; personally, I don’t perceive it as sweet. It’s the daytime version of Avon’s Night Magic; if you like the latter, you won’t regret trying Sweet Honesty. It could be excellent for staying at home, sleeping in, or casual outings, even to work. The longevity is exceptional, with moderate projection. It’s worth more than its price.
Personally, I don’t like it. It’s not bad, but it just doesn’t convince me. It doesn’t compare to Sweet Honesty Treasures or Sweet Honesty Forever.
It still smells the same as when I used it in primary school; every time I smell the catalogues or samples, I’m transported back to my childhood. As a child, I liked it, but not as much as other Avon fragrances, such as the princess ones or Exotic Waters. Now I wouldn’t buy it again because the floral notes are very prominent, especially the rose and talcum combination. If I like talcum but not so much roses, my tastes have changed. It’s very much a girl’s perfume and, in a way, timeless, although personally I don’t feel it is very vintage.
It smells of talcum powder with flowers. For such a low price, it doesn’t smell cheap, and for me, it doesn’t feel particularly retro. It’s very pleasant for after a bath.
This was my mother’s go-to perfume when she was a child. It left that soft, calming scent on the skin that I call ‘mum’s perfume’. I’m longing to buy a bottle, gift it to her, and embrace her to relive that special memory.
This was the perfume my mum always wore when I was a child. I’m not exactly sure how it smelled at each stage, but on her skin it left that ‘mum’ scent, soft and calming. I’ll have to buy a bottle, give it to her, and hug her, as I always do, to remember it.
This is a flower fragrance that has changed its formula; it was my go-to perfume and I opened it with a bit of disappointment. Previously, it smelled of clean, dusty old books, but now it smells more of intense florals. It’s a classic, so I’ll keep using it as it’s not bad, but it has lost that nostalgic touch. It remains cheap and, once dried on the skin, I like it, although at first it smells strong and a bit rough. The longevity is short, but the size is ideal for a handbag.
It smells super green and woody, which doesn’t suit me. Once it dries, the honey and floral notes are barely noticeable, very soft and clinging to the skin. A pity, as I was hoping for that baby shampoo scent. It is cheap, yes.
