This is the perfume I’ve most coveted in 2021. Initially, it was only available in the US, but once it appeared on Amazon UK, I thought: ‘This is mine!’ I already owned a miniature of their Uninhibited from the 80s, that quintessential scent of the era that made me think, ‘This is how Cher must have smelled’. This Eau de Couture is very similar but modernised; it doesn’t stay stuck in the 80s but is updated for this decade. It smells clean and pure, yet also extravagant and luxurious. The notes that stand out most are cloves, bergamot, neroli, vanilla orchid, sandalwood and vetiver. It has a strong sillage and lasts around seven hours. A total triumph by the Goddess of Pop.

For those of you who want to buy it but don’t know where: it’s sold exclusively on Amazon UK 🙂

It’s an olfactory fantasy. Opulent, daring, and surprising. It bears no resemblance to a celebrity perfume; it could easily be a Chanel. Cher has created a scent from another planet. It opens with cloves and bergamot, then shifts into a rose blended with white flowers. I’ve never heard of a perfume like this, and I absolutely loved it. I would definitely buy it again. If you’re a Cher fan, you’ll be smitten. I don’t know how her first perfume smelled, though everyone says it resembles this one closely. Eau de Couture is luxury quality, both in scent, bottle, and packaging. If you get the chance, don’t hesitate to buy it; it’s a true relic. Even if you’re not a Cher fan but it catches your eye, if you enjoy dark and opulent fragrances, it won’t leave you indifferent. To repeat, I’ve never heard anything like this. 10/10

It seems the bottle designers wanted to pay homage to Cher’s biography, and they’ve done it brilliantly: the bottle looks like it has patches and titanium screws. The first Frankenstein to come out should be named ‘Promethea’.
