Mamma mia, words fail. Indescribable notes, delicious, fresh, fruity. What more could you ask for?

  • Literally smells like a stable, wet grass, leather, animal waste and more. To me it is a unique and pleasant olfactory experience. Strong, but if you don’t like exploring, do not buy this fragrance. Definitely very versatile, almost ‘too difficult to wear’, but recommended as an experience to share with friends and showcase new scents.

  • Rania J’s DNA. This time very spiced (cardamom, pepper…) plus tobacco, a green leaf, burnt, smoky which gives it that bitter touch + the subtle and distinctive touch of Rania’s leather (but very light and distant here) and incense. As always, a scent that is complex and simple at the same time. Worthy of sniffing. Not for me, but I take away not a crumb of merit from this artist.

What a beast, this Tabaco Habanero. Today I was in the mood for something autumnal and the weather allowed it. A free Saturday, no work rush where I wouldn’t even consider wearing it. A sweet, amber-forward opening that reminds me a lot of Ambre loup. It quickly turns into a spiced, toasted tobacco – potent, dry, and well-crafted, though a bit rough, like boxes of cigars. Gradually, the incense emerges with its smoky touch and the oud, which is cooler than Tom Ford’s, mineral and nothing animal. It evolves slowly, with subtle watery notes in the background; the incense intensifies until, at the end, the tobacco yields to the amber and woods. Potent and long-lasting, with a moderate sillage, but in my opinion, nothing challenging. Ten hours on skin, eight on clothes. If you like Ambre loup, this is a twist with tobacco and incense.
