  • Magnificent. Smells almost identical to La Nuit Tresor, with strong projection in the first few hours and over eight hours of total longevity. This house surprises again with luxury at bargain prices. It’s that impossible blend of fruity and gourmand with coffee, more mature and elegant than Black Opium. Fantastic for night wear. Scent 10/10, Longevity 9/10, Projection 8/10, Value 10/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

  • Lady Noir

I’m not one for extreme sweetness or gourmand scents, but this is exceptional. It’s worth every penny: affordable yet smells luxurious. Everyone can enjoy it; it has excellent projection and longevity. It’s not overpowering, subtly sensual, juicy red fruit, and warm without being cloying. Ideal for cool evenings. I’ve already received compliments.

I’m not one for extreme sweetness or gourmand scents, but this is exceptional. Worth every penny: it’s affordable yet smells expensive. Everyone can enjoy it; it has a lovely trail and good longevity. It’s not overpowering, subtly sensual, juicy red fruit with warmth without being cloying. Perfect for cool evenings. I’ve already received compliments.

  • Crisindian

Yes, it’s very rich and similar to Nuit Tresor, also to Armaf’s Signature, although I prefer the latter; I think it has more quality and also an excellent price.

  • Valelibre

I get a touch of talc on it. Does anyone else feel this? I don’t know what it is, but I always feel it’s sweet but a bit powdery.

  • Valelibre

It smells a bit of talcum powder to me. Does anyone else experience this? I always find it sweet, but with that powdery touch.

  • I’ve been using this fragrance for several days and I like it quite a bit. I’m surprised by the quality and the price. It has an incredible and very well-executed similarity to La Nuit Tresor; I’m delighted. The projection fades approximately after 3 hours, the same with the trail, but when you get a breeze, you and those nearby can smell the aroma, which smells delicious and is extremely similar to La Nuit Tresor. For the price it has, I’m not bothered by reapplying it every 4 hours to feel the delicious intensity again. At skin level and on clothes, it lasts approximately 8 hours. If you work in a well-ventilated and cool environment, you can use it all year round, or save it for colder seasons or nights. If you like La Nuit Tresor and want a more economical alternative, then this is an excellent option. Trail 7/10 Longevity 7/10 Aroma 8/10 Value for Money 10/10 Packaging 8/10 Buy blind? Yes, if you like sweet and gourmand perfumes; because if you don’t like it, you won’t die for the price. Would I buy it again? Definitely yes.

  • I’ve been wearing it for several days and I’m hooked. Incredible quality and price. It has a brutal, well-executed resemblance to La Nuit Tresor; I’m delighted. Projection and trail drop off after three hours, but with a breeze it’s noticeable and smells delicious. At this price, I can reapply every four hours without issue. On clothes, it lasts eight hours. If you work in a ventilated area, it’s suitable all year round or just in the cold. If you like La Nuit Tresor and are looking for something cheaper, this is your option. Projection 7/10, Longevity 7/10, Scent 8/10, Price 10/10. Blind buy? Yes, if you like sweet scents. Would I buy again? Definitely yes.

A super rich aroma, I love it; I find it sweet and fruity with a very chocolatey dry-down to use it all year round because it’s versatile. The La Rive line is economical and very good, as in perfumes where I pay more, I find the same quality. I recommend trying this brand; they say they are inspired by designer perfumes; in this case, they compare Taste of a Kiss with La Nuit Tresor EDP; they’re not the same (they’re similar), if you’re going for the same line. If you like La Nuit Tresor and don’t want to spend money, you can get Taste of Kiss for much less; it smells exquisite.

  • I bought this perfume because I liked the packaging, the price was very economical, and I had seen reviews saying it was ‘similar’ to Nuit Tresor. I don’t know if it’s the same because I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling the original. I must say that a very generic smell is noticeable, although on its opening the smell is very enveloping, very sweet, and even seems more expensive… but the fantasy of that wonderful smell fades after half an hour, leaving a smell like between a very reduced vanilla and very synthetic patchouli. I had to get rid of it.

  • I bought it for the bottle and the price, which is very economical, and because people say it’s similar to Nuit Tresor. I haven’t smelled the original version to compare. It has a generic scent: at first it’s very enveloping, sweet, and seems luxurious, but after half an hour the magic fades and it leaves a reduced vanilla note with synthetic patchouli. I had to get rid of it.

  • It smells good, although the cheap ingredients are noticeable; it doesn’t last a sigh, neither on skin nor on clothes. Moreover, on skin it leaves me oily or damp without absorbing. Fortunately, it came cheap because otherwise, it would be a waste of money. I saw many comments on YouTube saying it was very well done and lasted all day; I must say I totally disagree. That’s because I’m not into cloying perfumes nor used to them lasting the whole day, so my expectations in that aspect were zero, but as I said, it doesn’t last a sigh. Any of the fragrances from Lidl’s Essence line (the ones in the rectangular bottle) last much longer.

  • My first La Rive perfume. It opens with a note that seems quite chemical; I wouldn’t say it’s alcohol, but rather a chemical. Anyway, don’t be alarmed: this opening lasts only a few instants, very brief, giving way to a citrus-sweet aroma that I’d say is tangelo; I don’t feel the fresh, green citrus of bergamot that I’ve smelled so often. Indeed, there’s something tropical, as the website indicates; I think it’s passion fruit. At this point, something very ‘cosmetic’ emerges, like super-scented makeup powder… do you remember the potency of Maja powder? It doesn’t smell like that product, but it has that intensity of a cosmetic perfume. After that, which lasts about 20 minutes, this perfume boils down to three words: BOMB – OF – LICORICE. I have licorice to take home and to eat here, licorice for the rest of the decade. Taking the reviews that agree on its similarity to La Nuit Tresor as true, I’m a little disappointed. But I’m not disappointed in La Rive, but in Lancôme. I don’t know the Lancôme perfume, but if it’s true that they’re very similar… I wouldn’t buy La Nuit Tresor; I’d ask for more from this experienced house than a linear licorice bomb. Anyway, and to conclude, this perfume has a longevity of 4 hours on my skin and clings to clothes for hours without mercy. Something that, at the £13 it cost me, exceeds my expectations and will make me continue trying perfumes from this house.

  • If you’re going to buy this perfume because it resembles Lancôme’s Tresor, don’t do it; it disappointed me. Although it has some similarity, there’s no comparison; La Rive uses cheap materials, and it’s noticeable in the composition. To stay fragrant all day, I use about 40 sprays at different times. If you can save up and wait for the famous sale, that’s the best option. Every La Rive perfume starts with an alcohol blast that you just have to endure; they’re not bad, they’re rich, but it’s better to save up.

If it’s a cheap version of La Nuit Tresor by Lancôme, I don’t think it’s worth it, even though it’s much cheaper than the original. This perfume lasts a maximum of two hours. I recommend looking for an Arabic perfume that is similar to La Nuit Tresor. Here are some that smell alike: – Armaf Signature True. – Ard Al Zaafaran Jazzab Gold. – Afnan Modest Deux. Some aren’t exact copies but smell the same. They’re cheap and better than this one from La Rive. The Arabic perfumes mentioned have better longevity and projection.
