I’m taken aback by the sheer number of notes! To me, it’s synthetic vanilla but utterly delicious. I detect a hint of peach and lots of coconut, but nothing else. It’s sweet without being overpowering. I wear it alone or as a base to boost other vanilla scents. Sillage is medium-high and it lasts 8 hours, brilliant for €4. The only drawback is that it only comes in 30ml; I need more, but it’s perfect for a handbag. Would I buy it again? Yes.
It smells incredibly synthetic, like a bathroom air freshener. I wouldn’t recommend it, though I do like other fragrances from La Rive.
Smells like a supermarket air freshener, super synthetic. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I do recommend other scents from La Rive.
I thoroughly enjoy this vanilla for its excellent quality-to-price ratio. It leaves a rich scent on the skin and, unlike others, doesn’t smell synthetic to me. I detect coconut, a floral note with gardenia, and a slightly powdery base. It’s very pleasant; on my skin, it lasts six or seven hours. Sillage is moderate. Sometimes, unexpected bursts of the scent arrive throughout the day. At €3.95, the quality is unbeatable. I wear it alone or in layers with other fragrances to give them that extra vanilla touch.
At first, it reminds me of the discontinued Yves Rocher Bourbon Vanilla. Dry down smells like a doll straight out of the box, which I adore. That plastic note is synthetic, but it doesn’t repel me; on the contrary, it adds charm. Intimate sillage and acceptable longevity. Ideal for leisure, staying at home, or dates where you want someone to come closer without you saying much. Some say it smells like Play-Doh, but for me, it doesn’t; it’s also not like L’Erbolario’s Mandorla, which is more complex, though it does resemble Vanilla Lace. Although some claim it’s tropical due to the coconut, it smells linear and you don’t notice so many notes, which is perfect for me. 30ml for €4 on makeup.es, add it to the cart just to avoid paying for postage. I’ve loved it and will repurchase when it runs out.
At first, it smells very much like the discontinued Yves Rocher Bourbon Vanilla. Dry down is like a doll straight out of the box, which I don’t mind as I’ve always enjoyed smelling them. That plastic note might seem synthetic, but it doesn’t repel me; unlike other perfumes, it’s tolerable and even part of the charm. Intimate sillage and acceptable longevity. Ideal for leisure, staying in to watch films, or a first date where you want to invite someone closer without making a big declaration. Some say it smells like Play-Doh, but for me, it doesn’t; it’s also not like L’Erbolario’s Mandorla, which is more powdery, though it does resemble Vanilla Lace. Although some claim it’s tropical due to the coconut, it smells quite linear with few distinct notes, which isn’t a problem for me. In summary: 30ml for €4 on makeup.es. Even if it’s just to avoid paying for postage on another item, add it to the cart. I’ve loved it and can’t ask for more given the price. I’ll probably repurchase when it runs out.
It’s one of my top vanilla scents; it doesn’t smell synthetic to me. I love it more once it has settled than straight from the bottle, as I detect a creamy note, probably coconut, which is my favourite. It brings me memories of coconut biscuits. The longevity and trail are brutal; I’ve already bought it in the smaller size, but I’ll definitely upgrade to the larger one.
One of my top vanilla scents. I don’t feel it’s synthetic; I love it more dry because it smells creamy, probably due to that coconut I adore. It reminds me of coconut cookies. The longevity and sillage are brilliant. I bought the small size, but I’m sure I’ll upgrade to the large one.
Surprisingly cheap. Although it smells synthetic, it develops and projects well. At first, it’s an attractive floral vanilla and finally leaves an undeclared, playful white musk. With so many niche perfumes available, I’m surprised by what this low-cost option offers.
Surprisingly cheap. Although it has a synthetic touch, it develops and projects well. At first, it’s a pleasant, attractive floral vanilla; as it dries down, it leaves a sweet, playful white musk. For a low-cost perfume, the performance really takes me by surprise.
This vanilla smells like Vaseline. Full stop. That’s all there is to it.
This vanilla smells exactly like Vaseline. That’s the whole story 😁
