My first La Rive purchase and it hasn’t let me down; it’s a beast when it comes to quality versus price. It smells lovely, develops beautifully, and lasts on my skin for over five hours with moderate projection. The opening is brief and fresh due to the orange, followed by the fruits (I don’t detect coconut) and vanilla, finishing sweet with a hint of chestnut. Perfect for spring and autumn; it can be too sweet in the summer. If you like sweet, fruity fragrances, this is your thing. I’d buy it again and I’m not sure if it’s a dupe for Olympea. First La Rive purchase and it hasn’t disappointed; it’s a real bargain. It develops beautifully and lasts over five hours on me with average projection. The opening is brief and fresh due to the orange, then the fruits emerge (I don’t detect coconut) followed by vanilla, leaving a sweet trail where chestnuts are noticeable. Ideal for spring or autumn; in summer it can be very sweet. If you like sweet and fruity scents, this is your perfume. I would buy it again and cannot confirm if it is a dupe for Olympea. At first it smells of alcohol and I was startled, seeming like a sigh, but within a minute it settles and you can tell it is floral and woody. Sometimes the coconut is noticeable but then it disappears and doesn’t return. The jasmine is there from start to finish; together with the wood, it becomes warm on my skin. It is winter and it is perfect in the cold: floral, warm and sweet for me. It lasts five hours (if the skin is hydrated, you drink water and apply it to your clothes). The trail is noticeable for the first two hours and then it stays close, only I can smell it. The main jasmine smells good when dried down, nothing synthetic. If you don’t like jasmine or florals, you might not like this. If you don’t like sweet scents, you might still like this because the sweetness is very soft and doesn’t bother anyone.
I love it; people might think I am wearing Olympea by Paco Rabanne. It has good trail and longevity. At this price, I would choose this over Olympea; I have both and prefer this because Olympea is too much for me.

It is very similar to Olympea by Paco Rabanne (I realised when I tried it) and performs well as an Eau de Parfum. It lacks a little of the salty note of the Paco version, although that marine touch is noticeable at the start. It is vanilla-based, less sweet and cloying. It is well balanced. What I appreciate most are the vanilla, hazelnut and that sea water that gives it closeness to Olympea. Excellent value for money. If you love Olympea and its variations, you will undoubtedly enjoy this.
Rich, fresh and sweet at the same time, perfect for spring/summer. It has a good trail; it tries to resemble Olympea but is more subtle and I like it more. At this price, here in Chile it is very cheap, you can’t ask for more. EDIT: Over time, in September 2021, it became more intense and I still like it more because it is fruitier and less salty than Olympea (I ended up selling the Olympea). In terms of longevity and trail it is perfect for a workday; it is the perfume that flatters me the most. Recommended 8/10.
It comes out quite strong; I feel lots of fruit and vanilla. It is one of the La Rive fragrances with the most longevity in my opinion. Good longevity, little trail like all of these, but you can’t ask for more for the price. It is very good for everyday wear. Regarding the similarity with Olympéa (which I also own), I don’t detect the salty note that characterises Olympéa. In Flames has a certain resemblance, I would say 40% or 50%, but in my opinion In Flames is not a bad fragrance on its own.
