Mmm, it smells of anise, amber and vanilla. It would be a caramel bonbon if not for that slightly ‘cardboard’ note I can’t quite place; perhaps it’s the clove with the neroli, I’m not sure. I didn’t detect the incense. Overall, a lovely perfume. Very sweet, yet nothing warm, creamy or heavy; on the contrary, it feels cool and light. The name suits it perfectly: ‘barefoot in the moon’s chambers’. That’s how I experienced it in cold weather. We’ll have to wait and see how it behaves in the heat.
