To be honest, it has disappointed me. It smells like barbershop cologne and a gentleman from another era. It is the cologne of a Ricardo Reis: very well made, but without surprises or originality.

Lutens wanted a harmonious cedar with exotic and warm notes. With Sheldrake, they created Cedre, a warm and woody oriental, intoxicating. Lutens took Sheldrake to his garden in Marrakech and said: ‘I want it to smell like this’. It is opulent and warm; on my skin, a soft cedar stands out with rich neroli that give it an adult character, all sweetened by honey, a Lutens signature. It lasts and projects for hours with just a few sprays. I see it as unisex but difficult to wear: it requires personality. It is serious, majestic and elegant. Ideal for formal and evening events. It reflects the charm of Marrakech.

Unlike the previous one, I think it is unisex but it suits a woman better. Be careful with the sprays: I overdid it and by the end of the day I was overwhelmed by the intensity. Projection and longevity are extremely high. For cold climates and better worn at night. It will not leave you indifferent.

One of the most masculine and least suffocating versions of neroli. A good fragrance; the neroli is there, noticeable, yet it doesn’t dominate.
