Descripción

Tommy Bahama Very Cool For Men by Tommy Bahama is a woody aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2006, this composition was created by Harry Fremont and Ilias Ermenidis. The top notes unfold with mandarin, ginger, and bergamot; the heart reveals nutmeg and sweet paprika; and the base settles on vetiver.

  • It’s a really good fragrance, it just lacks a bit of longevity, but that doesn’t stop it from being top-tier. It opens with a super citrusy note and that touch of ginger is phenomenal. Then, as it dries down, it smells very much like Jean Paul Gaultier’s Ultra Male.

  • This is a cracker, but it does lack a little in terms of longevity. Despite that, it smells fantastic: it starts off super citrusy and that hint of ginger is on another level. As it settles, it smells a lot like Jean Patou’s Ultra Male.

  • I’ve had this for over 20 years; it came with a cream. While cleaning out some old stuff last year, I found it and what a lovely scent. I bought it cheap back then and it truly has magic. It smells of almond, the ginger gives it a spark of freshness and a kick that I think is pepper (though the label says paprika and I don’t notice it). The vetiver makes it feel vintage, yet very wearable. It reminds me of Polo Sport, Antonio Banderas’ Mediterranean, or Avon’s Life, the one I was gifted and used for a couple of days.

  • I’ve had this for over two decades; it came with a matching cream and I rediscovered it last year amidst a pile of old junk. It smells absolutely divine—I remember paying just a euro for it. It has magic: it’s almond-scented, the ginger adds a spark of freshness and a kick that I think is pepper (though they say it’s paprika, I don’t notice it), while the vetiver gives it a vintage feel that remains very wearable. It reminds me of Polo Sport, Antonio Banderas’ Mediterranean, or Avon’s Life, the one I was gifted and used for two days before returning it.
