The packaging wasn’t what I expected; it smells quite sweet, a gourmand heavy on nuts. The citrus notes only give a brief initial spark. Performance is a beast, lasting hours and leaving a trail reminiscent of Vaseline Cocoa Butter cream. It’s somewhat masculine and sounds like something that already exists, I’m not sure which. The trail is extensive, probably due to the benzoin and myrrh. It’s not a unique proposition and there are similar scents. The bear is eye-catching and fun, but its contents are sober, creating a clash of concepts. Marketing-wise, the packaging won’t attract lovers of this type of fragrance, nor will it be a favourite for Toy 2 fans. That said, I liked it quite a bit, bought it to complete my bear collection and will definitely use it. I consider it suitable for cool climates; on a hot day it will surely be too cloying. I don’t recommend buying it blind.
I want it! It opens with a hint of bergamot, but what really shines is that almond sweetness, very similar to Akro’s Crush. And watch out, it doesn’t smell like BR at all. It’s unisex, sweet yet light, uncomplicated… perfect for everyday wear on hot days.
