  • We’re already head over heels for this new Toy Boy. Based on the notes, it promises to be an absolute bomb. I’m dying to know who put their nose behind it. We’ll wait and see how it turns out.

I love it; it’s not revolutionary but it fits perfectly into that trend of clean perfumes. At first, it smells spicy without being aggressive; nutmeg, ginger, and coffee get along brilliantly, with an almost edible touch. The base is sweet, amber, and features a luxury oud. As for longevity, I trust it: with Toy Boy and Toy Pearl, they last 8 hours, and I’ve been wearing it for two hours and it still projects as if it just came out of the bottle.

  • Toy Boy 2 is a woody, spicy fragrance with an amber base. It starts very spicy with cardamom and nutmeg at full throttle for about 10 minutes. Then, without losing that spicy touch, the wood and coffee kick in, giving it more character. In the final phase, there’s a balsamic and amber note, but what dominates are the spices and the wood. It’s the teddy bear version by Moschino, different from the original but equally interesting and pleasant; it has more spices and wood, and in my opinion, it’s more mature and even sensual. It works well for formal situations, romantic dates, the office, or any professional environment. Autumn and winter are its ideal seasons. As for longevity, it has lasted close to 12 hours with a very present sillage. I really liked this new version and I don’t think I’ll be long before buying it for its interesting scent. Try it yourselves and let me know what you think!

  • I used up a 3ml vial and it worked out well. It keeps that ‘niche’ vibe of the original Toy Boy, although it has nothing to do with it. I see it as much more versatile, provided it’s not hot, for day or night. Projection is moderate and it lasts a good eight hours. The scent is quite rounded, with an amber tone, soft coffee, a little sweet, and very pleasant. It has a fairly oriental drift due to the amber and spices, but with so many Arabic perfumes being released constantly, the result is quite common and nothing innovative. When the price drops, I’ll definitely buy a 30ml bottle to keep it company with its older sister for pure collecting reasons and because that format is a steal. Essential.

  • What a right on those little twits who rate without even trying. It smells exquisite, ideal for cold climates, it’s a night scent and suitable for special occasions. It’s warm-spicy with coffee. I feel it as a blend between Devotion pour Homme and A*Mén fantasm. Nothing like the first version of Toy Boy.

  • Toy Boy 2 is a woody, spiced, and amber fragrance. It opens very powerfully with cardamom and nutmeg lasting about 10 minutes, before blending into woods and coffee that add more character. As it dries down, it features balsamic and amber notes, but what really stands out are the spices and wood. It’s different from the original, more mature and even sensual, with stronger spice and wood elements. Perfect for formal occasions, romantic dates, the office, or work environments. The ideal season is autumn and winter. It lasted nearly 12 hours on me with a noticeable trail. I really like this new version and will definitely be buying it again soon for its interesting scent. I invite you to try it and share your thoughts.

I stick with the first Toy Boy, so original and unlike any other; that one has me head over heels. This is rich in aroma but doesn’t seem like a ‘wow’ or brilliant scent to me. It has seemed generic, style Scandal, Bad Boy Extreme, Invictus Victory, Bharara King and so many others. It’s not a bad perfume, it’s rich and pleasantly wearable for winter and very fresh nights. I liked it but it didn’t impress me.

  • Very oriental and spiced. It’s like walking through a spice and seed warehouse or an oriental market: lots of myrrh, nutmeg and ginger from the start, then giving way to a more wild coffee scent, almost freshly ground (stop comparing it to Halloween Man X or Green Stravaganza, nothing alike), and after several hours it ends with a skin scent of something that seems like incense, although the note isn’t listed. Completely removed from Toy Boy 1. Personally I love that perfume, but the Smirnoff tamarind smell (which made so many people cringe) is completely gone in this flanker. The projection and trail aren’t the same as Toy Boy 1 either.

  • Just tried it and first off: nothing like the original Toy Boy, and for me, that’s a good start because I couldn’t stand the smell of that other teddy 😛 The fragrance is a sweet suede note with coffee touches. At first, it sparkles, fresh and spicy, yet always sweet… it smells youthful. As it settles, it feels creamier, with that suede sensation and soft leather, super wearable. There’s a hint of coffee in the base, nothing invasive, along with woods and amber (supposedly no vanilla, but something similar is noticeable). The good thing is it’s not a cloyingly sweet perfume; in fact, the longer it wears, the more ‘woody’ and masculine it becomes, where you can detect some geranium. The evolution is interesting. It brought back memories of DUNHILL ICON ELITE, only this TOY BOY 2 by Moschino replaces the dark, dry woods of Dunhill with coffee and creaminess, plus it has a more ‘sexy’ profile. However, there’s a slight ‘burnt rubber’ sensation in the dry-down that makes both scents feel familiar, at least to my nose… In conclusion: it’s a rich, versatile, and sexy aroma, though not challenging. Regarding performance, I haven’t tested it over time yet, but definitely it’s not the BOMBA that the first smelly teddy was… PS: Thanks Moschino for putting a tasty juice in that striking bottle; now I actually want to add it to the collection and not just to admire it on the shelf xD

  • It has the DNA of D&G The One Intense, at least an 80% similarity. Woods, leather, resins and a floral base, but I notice this is sweeter and with a cardamomo a bit more forward. Very rich, but I prefer The One Intense, honestly.

I just tried it and, although it doesn’t smell bad, I find it redundant, especially if you already have a collection of more than 10 fragrances or several Arab ones. It smells of synthetic oud with woods and leather, just like a classic Arab perfume; the performance isn’t better than the original Toy Boy either. The only good thing is that perhaps the first Toy Boy will drop even lower in price, which is still worth it today for both scent and performance. • A very strange scent that I didn’t like at all. It has absolutely nothing to do with its predecessor; I don’t know what they were trying to achieve with this version. Honestly, it’s unpleasant.

  • I tried it yesterday here in Colombia; the hype was brutal. To be objective: arriving at version 2 consolidated the era of Toy Boy 1; it was a before and after in designer perfumery, proving that you can do it well, leave the moulds behind, and mark a different route. This intro to the 1 was what we imagined when announcing the 2. I went into Riviera and told the advisor to apply it for me. I have mixed feelings: one part likes it, but another feels let down. On leaving, I thought it had floral nuances like the 1, but I think it’s the name that generates those connections; blindfolded, I wouldn’t have recognised it. The initial phase of ginger and nutmeg, with an undeclared floral, feels spicy, spiced, green and earthy; the nutmeg gives it a sweet, dry and chalky tone. After 20 minutes, the woody phase enters with a strong espresso coffee, interwoven with myrrh incense. Here, in my view, it separates from what the name suggests; it reminds you of Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature only in the coffee part, but the myrrh takes it down another path. It doesn’t evolve much, becoming linear on the skin. Conclusion: I liked it a lot, I even wanted to own it, but if you’re looking for the floral evolution of withered rose and tamarind from the 1, this isn’t it. I recommend trying it; those who didn’t like the 1 might love this. It’s very complimentary, fascinating and addictive. Recommended.

  • This perfume has received a lot of hate because YouTube reviewers expected a ‘second version’ of Toy Boy. I understand the expectation due to the name, but honestly, that was never the intention. And seeing it as a new fragrance, it’s simply delicious. From the opening to the dry down it maintains its essence. Yes, it evolves, but not in a way that makes you feel like two different fragrances: one on application and another different one in the base. There are perfumes with radical interesting changes, but there is something valuable in a fragrance that retains its identity throughout its life on the skin. This does it very well. It’s not linear, but it is coherent. I see it as a night fragrance, with a dark character but not challenging nor excessively ‘niche’. It approaches that territory but remains pleasant, usable and enjoyable without feeling like you’re wearing something difficult. The listed notes are very precise: myrrh and coffee are the protagonists and are delicious, deep, enveloping, with that warm touch that catches. The nut in the opening is also exquisite, giving it texture and special character. I think Moschino did it again: a fragrance with its own identity, distinct and undervalued. If you like ‘dark’ but enjoyable perfumes, this is for you. Personally, it’s my favourite of 2025.

This Toy Boy flanker is super miss, offering no novel aroma. It smells of cucumber, obviously without any cucumber, but given the coffee, it should smell more woody and spiced; instead, it’s more citrusy and fresh. The original Toy, although it doesn’t carry tamarind either, smells exactly like that and is a delight where you can sense the vetiver and rose. The bottle, like all the Toy range, looks nice, but beyond that, I don’t like it at all.

This Toy Boy flanker is super kitsch, nothing new. It smells of cucumber, even though it doesn’t list it, but with coffee it should be more woody or spicy; instead, it’s citrusy/fresh. The original Toy, despite not listing tamarind, smells of that and is a delight with vetiver and rose. The bottle looks nice, but otherwise, I don’t like it at all.

  • Oh no. The previous one was so original and stood apart from the pack; this is just another copycat. What a pity they didn’t take a risk like they did with the spiced rose. It’s ruled out.
