As a perfume enthusiast, I’ve added two more to my collection, Madonna’s fragrances. I’ve already reviewed the other one. Regarding this, I find it more woody, also very exquisite like its sister, Truth or Dare. Here, the notes are less floral; I perceive sandalwood, which I like, but it’s very soft. I’ll test it better to define its longevity and trail, but I have the impression it’s wonderful. A 10 for Madonna and her designer Stephen Nilsen. Edit: trail and longevity are moderate, but its aroma is very adorable, a bit animalistic; this one does give the Madonna image; it’s a fairly sexy and slightly aggressive fragrance.
WHISKY SOLO At first, it reminds me of Gloria: a spiced, dark scent with the sweetness of strawberry syrup, but without the almond creaminess. It’s darker and more nuanced than Madonna’s white bottle, though softer (the other one is more striking, flat, and sweet). They share a sweet initial ingredient. With a more muted and lighter tone, this smells sexier; gradually, the spiced and amber syrup gives way to a woody base reminiscent of Euphoria (they share orchid), and finally, pure bitter cocoa becomes more noticeable. It’s interesting but has a light texture, especially compared to the white bottle, whose longevity is infinite and whose texture is so thick it’s almost sticky… this one falls short and the intense moment doesn’t last. In the dry-down phase, the initial sweetness is lost between the bitterness of oud or cocoa, becoming more masculine and subtle. The final dry-down, weak on clothes, is delicious: vanilla cedar, perhaps tobacco?, and warm, roasted pure cocoa. I admit it lasts many days on clothes and evolves, losing that bitter masculinity, edging towards the indulgent: a sweet facet between caramel, woods, and cocoa. USE: Autumn-winter or summer nights, unisex, perfect for daily wear without being invasive. It’s not for girls, but for strong women with personality… and also for men. Despite the colour, it’s not very concentrated; for more intensity, don’t be afraid to overapply.
This is as unisex as they come, sweet but not overwhelming, with a brilliant trail. Notes of spiced caramel and vanilla… fantastic for an autumn night or a party.
Spiced and balsamic, with the previous reviews already detailing it, there’s not much more to add. I’ve never liked celebrity fragrances, but if an exception must be made, without a doubt, I highlight those by Jessica Simpson and Madonna, which made a real difference in terms of creation and quality.
This Truth or Dare Naked has nothing to do with the original. While the first is powerful and high-quality, this flanker, Naked, lacks personality. It features notes of vanilla, orchid, cocoa, peach blossom, and woods like oud and sandalwood. On forums, it’s compared to niche scents, but to me, it smells simple and easygoing. It smells good, don’t be fooled, but it doesn’t remind me of Madonna; rather, it feels like Elizabeth Arden or Cacharel. The trail is strong at first but fades quickly, staying close to the skin. Longevity is scarce, around four hours even when applied generously. If you’re a Madonna fan, buy it; if you’re looking for something simple and it’s no longer in production, it’s also an option for you.
