I tried No Ordinary Man and became hooked on the Koloff brand, so when I spotted this at a good price, I didn’t hesitate. I expected a radical twist like with NOM, but here they have tamed the beast. While Sauvage shouts and causes muscle spasms with its load of pepper and ambroxan, this seeks your comfort and that of others, swapping those litres of ambroxan for cashmere, vanilla and a soft pink pepper. You decide: if you want to be the centre of attention, choose Sauvage; if you prefer an aura of good vibes so everyone feels good around you, Ultimate Men is your option. The trail is moderate for the first two hours, then fades to last around eight hours. I see it as very versatile for spring and autumn, more for day than for night.
