  I tested it in Milan recently, straight out of the oven. The opening is glorious—pure summer with a craving for linen and sunglasses—but after a realistic burst of mandarin, it fades and the dry-down arrives. The mandarin remains, yet it smells much less niche and takes on very typical designer notes. I was told the name comes from an upcycled technique used to extract the oil, which improves longevity and prevents it from vanishing so quickly. It’s a pity such an apothegmatic opening ends up being a perfume that, while good, doesn’t stand out or possess that niche essence, extreme refinement, or celestial scent; it simply smells nice, but it’s designer. I think the price is exorbitant (€190). Even if both this and the others smell good, for me they don’t pass, unless in a fit of madness they drop the price to €120 😃🍊
