  1. It smells like nothing. On Fragrantica, several French users note the same thing. I literally smell zero. It just arrived, after trying several at Lafayette (the French version of El Corte Inglés) that were spectacular: Tendre Madeleine (seriously, if it’s the most famous for a reason: lily + lolita), Rose Oud (I have countless of that combo which is my favourite in perfumery and this one is brilliant. I found the little paper where I sprayed it in my bag and two weeks later it still smells), Vanille Noire (super well made, round vanilla for personal enjoyment), Vanille Patchouli (it’s horrible) and Vanille de la Réunion. The last one I loved and I bought the Orientale because they said it was similar and it was on sale at Beauté Privée. I could have saved the money, I don’t smell it even when I’m right up against it.
