A 2026 introduction for men and women, Welcome in your Labyrinth by Unico Perfume is the work of Federica Russo and Giuseppe Amorese. The idea is a walk through wet soil, smoke and hide.
Tobacco, oakmoss, petrichor, earthy notes and liquorice open the composition. That green, rain-soaked prelude points directly towards a deep, resinous base.
The tobacco is kept arid and shadowy rather than honeyed. Oakmoss lends a cool woodland touch, petrichor and earthy notes recall rainfall on dry ground, and liquorice contributes a dark, faintly anisic sweetness.
At the centre lie blackcurrant, wild rose and resins. The blackcurrant is juicy and tart, the wild rose is lean and hedgerow-like, and the resins thicken everything with balsamic warmth.
The foundation brings together birch tar, leather, oud wood and Star Dust. Tar and leather dominate, oud supplies profound woody depth, and the starry powder accord lifts the blend with a dry, abstract veil.
Accords of leather, tobacco, smoke, animalic notes, amber and balsam shape the character, tempered by roses, fruit, gentle sweetness and soft spice. The fruity-floral moment brightens without softening the whole.
The development favours contrast over smoothness: mineral at first, then berry and rose, then smoke and timber. It is a unisex fragrance with a distinctly nocturnal temperament.
It will appeal to wearers drawn to unisex smoky leathers, arid tobacco and oud, and to those who favour black fruits and wild rose against an earthy, balsamic backdrop.
