  One of the rare ones that just don’t work for me. Performance is good, but the scent is a disaster: it smells like glue with something musty on top. I don’t know if it’s my skin, but after an hour I already want to wash it off, haha.

  I’ve tried it again, and now that I know a bit more about oud perfumes, I find it interesting. The dirty oud note that previously annoyed me is now attractive, and the melon touch gives it a sweet/citrusy air that makes it original. It’s unisex and suitable for any time of day. Scent: 7.5, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Originality: 9, Versatility: 6, Value for money: 4.5 (I’m not sure if it’s worth paying that for this oud when there are much cheaper Arab perfumes of similar quality; this oud reminds me a lot of Dhanal Oudh Nashwah by Radasi, which costs €20/40ml, whereas this one is €100/50ml). Overall: 7

  Starts with a punch of Cambodian oud and cedar, sweet and woody. A few minutes in, the ambrette musk adds an animalic, authoritative touch. Later, the cedar fades and the oud remains, letting the melon and sugary honey take centre stage; simply a masterpiece. I love it – it blew my mind; it’s imposing, addictive, and unique, an olfactory experience for any oud lover.
