Wood Legacy is one of those fragrances that seem complicated at first but then captivate you. It is oriental, woody, and features a dark, creamy chocolate that sweetens it. The dry-down is powerful and warm, with an incense not listed on the notes that gives a campfire intimacy in the desert. The dry-down is spectacular, earthy and vanilla-like. Captivating, though not for beginners.
A love-hate relationship with this fragrance. It opens brutally, then for about half an hour that bitter vanilla, reminiscent of Vanilla 01, clings to you. Suddenly… the magic: a musky, mossy chocolate that is utterly addictive. It’s madness: ‘I smelled you, now you must love me’. A test period that ends with you loving it to the hilt.
