It’s a bitter, salty citrus note thanks to the sea algae. I imagine it’s perfect for a stroll along the Mediterranean beach on a grey autumn day, with the sea glowing amber. I dream of walking hand in hand with my nieces, wrapped in that fruity and marine scent as the breeze smiles upon us, with Joaquín Cortés’ tapas music playing in my mind.

Citrusy, aquatic, and fresh opening, with a minty touch that gives it a youthful vibe. The trail is moderate to low, making it ideal for sunny days, the gym, or after a shower when you don’t want to smell like anything in particular. I picked it up at half price and have a feeling it won’t be in the catalogue for long.

I tested it with 1 ml of over-application, yet it only lasted two hours with a moderate trail. It begins with a citrus note, perhaps bergamot, accented with a salty marine touch. By three hours, the trail fades, leaving very soft green and woody notes. By six hours, there’s barely a faint musk (its functional limit). It’s a daytime scent, perfect for summer or spring, good for sport, and doesn’t cost much, but it’s far too unambitious to be Joaquín Cortés’ first launch. It smells like a decent deodorant, lacking personality, and falls short compared to his next perfume, 24K.
